While the OEM rod is not plastic like so many guns use these days, it just doesn't have the quality feel that this one has. Installed it along with the improved recoil spring and is the icing on top for my LCP upgrades.
I have now installed every mod you offer for the LCP and man does it make a difference! I now have a "fully" upgraded LCP which is rapidly becoming my primary carry. Love you have the video that just walks you thru the entire process. Just kept it up on the screen and followed along which made this easy to do. Keep up the great work!

Quality stainless steel trumps the metal that comes from Ruger. I polished up with some Flitz as well for the smoothest operation possible.
Great guide rod
I recently bought a Ruger lcp22 I thought that a stainless steel guide rod would be a good idea so I immediately bought that and it take down pin nothing worse than getting out on the range and having something break so I'm going to use it as a backup

I have not installed it yet but it looks well made. I am pleased with it and need to order another one for my original lcp.

Unfortunately, no this will not fit or function in the LC9 or LC380 models.
Can this be used on lcp 2 Max?
