This part does not fit the newest model of LCP
Purchased for a new LCP. It is a nice looking pin and slides in easily, but will not come out of the firearm. I think the diameter is fine, but I think the new radius for the detent is the culprit and or the coating on the detent, Regardless, I had to pry it out with a flat blade screw driver and marring the slide. I have the factory retention spring in so perhaps its my error and I was supposed to use another.
I have these for other models and they're fine also.
No good for latest gen LCP (1)
Too wide for the latest model LCP. Pops the takedown pin retention spring out of place and pulls the entire frame out rather than releasing the pin. Must remove lower takedown pins to get this out and re-seat the spring, completely defeating the purpose of an upper takedown pin.
Better
Much better than the OEM pin. Just from looks alone you can tell this one is beefier than what the manufacturer installs and should last much longer. I was a little disappointed that you don't have the one featured in your videos, it seems, that you can turn to make removal easier but I am guessing the reason for that is to make sure it is always retained with as little possibility of walking out as possible. The only problem I have now is that when pulling this pin it bends out the polymer side a lot and worried some day I could damage the gun itself when doing a field strip for cleaning.
I have now installed every mod you offer for the LCP and man does it make a difference! I now have a "fully" upgraded LCP which is rapidly becoming my primary carry. Love you have the video that just walks you thru the entire process. Just kept it up on the screen and followed along which made this easy to do. Keep up the great work!
Take down pin
What a difference this small deal made. Racks smoother, holds tighter and is stronger.. thx Chris Nelson !
Great product/fast shipping
Perfect for the LCP. This pin is much more sturdy than the stock pin.
Great Product
Much better than the factory part. Doesn't walk out.
Great upgrade !
Much heavier duty than stock pin. Definitely will not break! Good upgrade!
Great Upgrade for Ruger LCP 2 22LR
Just installed and tried out at local indoor range. Very happy with the performance and level of quality. Big enhancement to my new micro pistol!
Is there a different pin for the 22? Mine is so tight I can hardly remove it.
No it's the same pin for either model. It's meant to be tight as essentially that pin is holding the firearm together.

Does this work in the LCP2 in 22lr
I am disappointed in the pin. It goes in rather tightly but can be put in. Trying to extract it is a different story. It actually bends the frame before it will come out. Does anyone else have this problem?

Your installation videos show a completely different pin with a slotted head and different retention. Which is the current pin you sell?

Will the LCP 2 take down pin fit an LCP MAX? I sure hope so!
Thanks
