Sig Sauer P365 Short Stroke Flat Trigger
This precision-engineered upgrade is CNC machined from solid 4140 steel, ensuring maximum durability and reliability. It is designed to correct common Sig Sauer P365 problems associated with MIM (Metal Injection Molded) parts, offering a significant improvement over factory components.
Experience a 33% reduction in travel over the OEM trigger, with improved reset and break angles. The Short Stroke design allows the shooter to place their finger lower on the trigger, improving leverage and creating the feel of a 1/2lb lighter trigger pull. With the included over-travel set screw, you can fine-tune your trigger to achieve maximum reduction.
This upgrade includes an extra smooth edge and rounded tip on the bottom of the trigger to prevent trigger bite. The trigger is tumbled smooth and finished with a lifetime-lasting black nitride.
We recommend installing the Sig P365 Trigger Spring Kit simultaneously for a reduced workload and an overall trigger pull reduction of up to ~40% less than the factory trigger pull. Experience an enhanced, clean, and crisp Sig P365 Trigger Pull.

Best P365 trigger on the market.
Big thanks to Ken at MCARBO for getting me into this trigger. It is such a vast improvement over the stock part that it is almost like having a new pistol. I just finished putting 500 rounds through with it and it is amazing. Buy with confidence!
Best Trigger for ALL P365 guns 🔥🔥🔥

P365 Flat Trigger
I should have got one of these long ago. So much better that the OEM trigger shoe!
New Flat Trigger
I’m so pleased with the new M-Carbo CNC machined flat trigger. I just finished installing it. Your videos are so helpful, couldn’t have done without it. The factory curved trigger made my trigger finger sore. This feels so much nicer, with less free travel. Keep up the good work on design and machining, you do an amazing job with your parts.
No longer mushy
Installed the M*Carbo spring kit and short stroke strigger (red) for my P365. The springs install was a bit difficult but the tutorial was a huge help. Just took my time and then installed the trigger, which was a lot easier. Starting pull weight was over 6.5 lbs and with the dreaded "mushy" pull. The pull weight ended up at 3 lbs 4 oz measured with a Lyman gauge. Best of all, final adjustment of the overtravel screw virtually eliminated the mushy feel. Honestly not as crisp as a 1911 but certainly worth the extra bucks. Pretravel and overtravel are reduced also. I polished the CPU where the trigger bar rubs, and the sear and striker disconnect. Also put some TW25B grease sparingly. My final upgrade will be the titanium striker assy. Final judgment will be after my next range session.
Mine is out of spec, too
Not even bothering with customer service. I have someone who can get it done. Shouldn’t have to, but oh well. Makes me extremely leery of anything else from MCARBO.
Love the trigger great feel and easy installation although it's slightly different if you have a p365 x macro with the manual safety but still very easy and works great!
Does this work with the new P365 AXG Legion?

Is the spring kit needed in addition to the flat trigger? Will the kit enhance the trigger or is OEM suitable?
GLaney November 2, 2024 5:29 PM
The spring kit will enhance the performance of the trigger. The OEM springs will work with this kit too.

I have the California edition of the P365 but I have removed the magazine disconnect. If I were to order the trigger would I order the Cali edition trigger or just the regular trigger?
Mcarbo does not recommend removing or disabling safety feature. However, in this circumstance the regular trigger would be the best choice.

Does this fit the new P365-AXG Legion, or will you be putting out a trigger kit for that separately?
100% it fits the legion. It’s the same p365 FCU. I have one installed already.

How do you address the issue in some FCU where the safety will not go down far enough to allow the slide to go back on. Seems to be a common problem found with a quick Google search, but the solution is not clear.
We have revised the design of our trigger to compensate for this issue.

I filed the forward edge of the trigger the contracts the FCU so the trigger would swing forward enough for the FPS lever to go down enough to clear the back plate cap
You can trim the back plate cap on the right bottom just a smidge or you can ordered a modified one from tactical trigger.

I'd like an answer for that too. Seems that the trigger needs to be farther forward to allow the trigger to be farther back allowing the safety bar to drop down. I think its a machining issue

Is the p365 trigger in gold still in the works? I saw pictures of it on the gun show almost a year ago. I think it would be a great color addition.

What ever happened to the gold version coming out? I already bought a black one but, you guys teased the release MONTHS ago. I've been diligently checking and nada.
I have the 365 California edition with the magazine disconnect. If I remove the mag disconnect will this trigger fit?

Do you have a video that addresses the install on a FCU with a manual safety?
Yes, here: https://support.mcarbo.com/hc/en-us/articles/13393980419597-Sig-P365-Troubleshooting-Flat-Trigger-Install-Tips
Will this trigger work with the 365X Macro Comp
Works perfectly in my X-Macro Comp and has for 5000+ rounds. My son shoots this gun in USPSA and this trigger has been awesome with zero issues. With all of the things I've done to "Race Gun" it I'm now in the process of building an XL with the leftover factory parts. I'm waiting on the FCU now as soon as I get it I'll order another mCarbo trigger for that.
No it will not. I tried to install it on my xmacro comp. It failed for the same reasons that were put forward by Ben Bradow and Drew Almy. Do NOT buy this for the xmacro comp.

I had the exact same issue as Ben Bradow (answered question below and also a lengthy explanation in the review section). Mine is an X, already have this trigger installed in 2 other guns without issue. The recent recieved trigger shoe has bad geometry not allowing the safety lever to fully seat. Cannot install slide. Swapped parts out of all 3 p365s I have and same results using newest mcarbo trigger. I hope they address my issue and don’t give me the same response Ben got

Will this work on an FCU with a manual safety?
If I purchase this with the titanium striker kit, do you recommend I also purchase the spring kit ?
Yes, the trigger spring kit will the sear spring and striker safety block spring to complete the best feeling Sig P365 Trigger Job!
Will this work with p365 x macro tacops?
Does this work with sig p365x?
Fits & Functions in Sig Sauer P365, Sig Sauer P365 380, Sig Sauer P365SAS, Sig Sauer P365XL and Sig Sauer P365 X-Macro
The P365x is the same as the XL, and all P365's are the same. All the parts work on them all the models. From the regular P365,X, XL, M-Macro
I have the p365x 9mm, it is not the xl or the macro. So your parts are not compatible for it ?

Curious on if this trigger will still make the P365 drop safe?
February 11, 2023 12:27 PM
Yes! During our testing and development, we perform drop safety tests according to SAAMI Standard Z299.5 rating (12" & 48").
Does the trigger pull weight increase over the stock sig flat trigger if I use the stock springs with this trigger?
February 11, 2023 7:32 AM
Felt like maybe slightly but it was almost exactly the same.
Only thing it affected on mine was the reset.
But I have no way to measure it. Just guessing.
I still have factory springs
I have Sig Custom Works FCU. Is this trigger compatible?
Yes, all FCU are the same, just different colors
Does installation of this trigger differ when using a FCXXXXXXX custom sig works FCU?
The installation is the same for all FCU
Will the short stroke trigger work in the new xmacro? The only reason I ask is due to a fitment issue I had with a different trigger that worked fine in my xl, but when I installed it in the macro there was clearence issues to the rear. Thanks for your time.
Kraig September 16, 2022 6:43 AM
I had the same issue with my new 365 X-Macro there was not enough clearance in the rear. I tried to even to Dremel the rear or trigger so it would pass and ended up giving up and put the stock trigger back in with trigger spring kit

We have tested it in the xMacro without issue.
Is there an instruction manual on how to install the trigger?
We have a fully detailed video on how to breakdown and install the trigger on our Product Information page.
Do you ship this item to Sweden?
You can find the dealer page in our international orders, but we can only ship to specific dealers
AF&K Sport Sweden AB - Stockholm, Sweden
Anyone able to confirm this trigger and sear spring group will work in the new version P365X with manual safety?
The FCU for the 365 models are the same, the only difference is slide length and grip size of the pistols. We also have had good feed back from our 365x customers.
Is there a date of these triggers being available? Or is is it best/quickest to order and will ship when ready?
We recommend placing your order and we will ship it out as soon as possible! We are currently non-stop running these triggers in our CNC machines and are sending them out in batches to our Vendor for the surface finishing process. All backorders are being filled oldest to newest, so placing your order will keep your spot in line :) We are working as hard as we can to try to catch back up!!
If I order one on 4-13-2022 when would it ship with the back order?
we are sending out batches of machined triggers to our Second Process vendor for surface finishing on a consistent basis and will fill all backorders in the order of when they were placed! The average lead time between batches is around 3-4 weeks, depending on our vendor's lead times and shipping.
How's the trigger reach on this versus the standard curved trigger? I tried the factory flat trigger and went back to the curved because it was easier for me to reach.
The resting position of our Flat Trigger sits further back than both of the OEM triggers, with the "short-stroke" shortened pre-travel instilled in its design. This will allow you more space for your finger between the trigger and the guard and will be a much more comfortable reach. Chris does cover this in our recently uploaded video as well!
Will this retrofit into the SAS and if so, are the benefits the same?
Whaduu January 4, 2022 8:37 AM
Yes and YES! :) Our trigger has been tested and verified as compatible with the SAS models.
So if I understand, the p365 & the p250 have the same fire control module. So would this kit work in it also or am I misinformed.
December 26, 2021 6:36 AM
We have not tested our P365 Trigger in the P250 and cannot confirm it's proper fit or function in that model.

Yes this trigger will fit and work in all Sig P365 models!
Does this trigger reduce the pre travel of the P365 and by how much? And if it does, does the striker safety lever interfere with assembly/disassembly?
I apologize yes the set screw is to adjust over-travel. The trigger will sit at a better starting angle (right at 80 degrees) compared to Sig's MIM flat trigger (which is about 68-69 degrees), and due to this improved starting angle of the trigger face, being a short-stroke trigger, no pre-travel adjustment is available.
I thought and it appears that the set screw is used to adjust over travel since it is on the back of the trigger. Is that correct? Is there something in the design that reduces the pre travel/ takeup?

Yes, the set screw included is adjustable once the trigger is installed, so you can find your ideal comfort setting before adding any threadlocker locktite. The striker safety lever will not interfere.
Do these new P365 triggers take up or shorten the PRE-TRAVEL?
Mcarbo trigger breaks at 5 o'clock positon instead of 6 o'clock position.
I have already installed your Sig 365 spring kit ( and 6 of your spring kits in other guns) Nd am very pleased with all of them.
Your install videos are great. I just ordered your Sig 365 flat trigger. Do you have an install video for the trigger?
There is no video available yet, but we should have one uploaded to our YouTube Channel soon.
At what angle does the trigger break? Is it still near 90 degrees to barrel?
