Incredible upgrade with minor fitting on 2023 365X Macro.
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
4.2lb repeatable pull when coupled with the spring kit. I had to do some minor fitting between the trigger bar and safety lever like another review mentioned due to the safety lever sitting proud after the install. However this let me tune the engagement to be perfectly fit for the new pre-travel (which is less than 1/3 the original.) and maintain the striker block safety. If you run into this issue and are not comfortable making the adjustments PLEASE take it to a gunsmith. My safety lever was pretty rough cut from the factory(may have been the fitment issue to begin with). Overall I am extremely happy with this trigger. Go watch the video on the install and see if you drop the safety lever at the same time they do!
Great upgrade from Sig's somewhat mushy MIM trigger
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
Does everything that it promises, reducing pre-travel, reducing overtravel, improving (though this is subjective) the feel of the trigger on the 365 considerably, and giving you a little bit more room for winter gloves. Note the installation is a bit trickier than most modular FCU firearms I've worked with, but that's going to be the same even if you were putting in an OEM trigger, and the installation videos are excellent. Well worth the money.
trigger doesnt work out of box
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
with my p365 macro it does not work out of the box (and all 365 use the same fcu), it takes up too much pre travel and causes the safety lever (part number 29 if you look at the sig gun disassembly.) it causes it to stick up too high and wont let you put your slide back on. i took it to a gun smith and they said the trigger should of been cut more on the front. Mcarbo said its sigs fault and to get there trigger to work i should shave my back plate, polish the safety lever, shave my trigger lever, or finally cut the front of the trigger which should of been cut to begin with. but if you do that it voids there warranty. so you can either void your sig warranty on your $850 gun or the warranty on a $80 trigger that said it works out of the box.
Love this trigger
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
The M Carbo P365 trigger is a huge improvement from OEM Sig flat trigger. The reduced take-up and geometry on the M Carbo trigger is really nice, the OEM trigger had a lot of take up and felt kinda spongy at the break. Still enough take up for a safe EDC gun, and pull weight did not change (did not install spring kit).

Perfect trigger
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
This trigger is all metal and reduces trigger pull significantly. Installation was a little above my gunsmithing skill level so I opted for the MCARBO installation. They did a great job and I am well pleased with the trigger. I recommend changing the springs out at the same time.
Just do it
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
Love this trigger. Insane improvement vs sig’s mushy oem. Super crisp break and I love quick the reset. Drastic difference to shoot with. Super smooth! Speed and follow up shots are great.

I paired with the mcarbo spring kit, mcarbo titanium striker & new stainless stryker housing/rear slide cover, and extended mag release, it’s a dream to shoot. Dpm recoil spring has it tuned to perfection. Other than a new grip module and slide, I won’t ever change a thing.

If you’re hesitating getting because of not wanting to switch out springs, the trigger is a worthy upgrade by itself.

Awesome trigger !!
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
So far this seems to be one of the best overall triggers I’ve had and used so far. I’ve not yet moved it over to my EDC gun yet just bc I like to get new products thru a certain amount of rounds, and/or abuse before trusting my life with it. My only hesitation was the set screw but so far it seems to be holding up just fine. Hopefully after the next trip or 2 at the range I’ll be swapping FCU’s over to my EDC, and ordering another MCarbo trigger to replace my AC skeletonized flat trigger.
Bought the red trigger
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
I bought the red trigger for p365. Installing took some time as I am new to this but I was very disappointed in the lack of the precision quality control as described . I had to file down 1/8” off the front of the trigger stop otherwise it wouldn’t allow the trigger bar to return enough to allow the slide lock to seat down to allow me to put the slide back on. As a novice it took me 2hrs just to figure this out and come up with a fix. I shouldn’t have to modify this like I did.

mine did not, takes up too much pre tavel and leaves your saftey lever up too high and you cant put your slide on. (saftey lever is #29 if you look up a exploded parts list on sig). i took it too a gun smith and they said the front of the trigger should of been cut more. and mcarbo said its sigs fault and i should cut the back plate, or my trigger bar

Question:
How's the trigger reach on this versus the standard curved trigger? I tried the factory flat trigger and went back to the curved because it was easier for me to reach.
tactics February 28, 2022 2:02 PM
Answers
The resting position of our Flat Trigger sits further back than both of the OEM triggers, with the "short-stroke" shortened pre-travel instilled in its design. This will allow you more space for your finger between the trigger and the guard and will be a much more comfortable reach. Chris does cover this in our recently uploaded video as well!

Question:
Does this trigger reduce the pre travel of the P365 and by how much? And if it does, does the striker safety lever interfere with assembly/disassembly?
MysterE December 19, 2021 7:04 PM
Answers
I apologize yes the set screw is to adjust over-travel. The trigger will sit at a better starting angle (right at 80 degrees) compared to Sig's MIM flat trigger (which is about 68-69 degrees), and due to this improved starting angle of the trigger face, being a short-stroke trigger, no pre-travel adjustment is available.
Answered by
Abby Marino / January 5, 2022 2:55 PM
I thought and it appears that the set screw is used to adjust over travel since it is on the back of the trigger. Is that correct? Is there something in the design that reduces the pre travel/ takeup?
Answered by
MysterE / December 20, 2021 2:06 PM
Yes, the set screw included is adjustable once the trigger is installed, so you can find your ideal comfort setting before adding any threadlocker locktite. The striker safety lever will not interfere.

with my p365 macro it does not work out of the box (and all 365 use the same fcu), it takes up too much pre travel and causes the safety lever (part number 29 if you look at the sig gun disassembly.) it causes it to stick up too high and wont let you put your slide back on. i took it to a gun smith and they said the trigger should of been cut more on the front.

I had the same issue with my new 365 X-Macro there was not enough clearance in the rear. I tried to even to Dremel the rear or trigger so it would pass and ended up giving up and put the stock trigger back in with trigger spring kit

The FCU for the 365 models are the same, the only difference is slide length and grip size of the pistols. We also have had good feed back from our 365x customers.

We recommend placing your order and we will ship it out as soon as possible! We are currently non-stop running these triggers in our CNC machines and are sending them out in batches to our Vendor for the surface finishing process. All backorders are being filled oldest to newest, so placing your order will keep your spot in line :) We are working as hard as we can to try to catch back up!!

we are sending out batches of machined triggers to our Second Process vendor for surface finishing on a consistent basis and will fill all backorders in the order of when they were placed! The average lead time between batches is around 3-4 weeks, depending on our vendor's lead times and shipping.

How's the trigger reach on this versus the standard curved trigger? I tried the factory flat trigger and went back to the curved because it was easier for me to reach.

I apologize yes the set screw is to adjust over-travel. The trigger will sit at a better starting angle (right at 80 degrees) compared to Sig's MIM flat trigger (which is about 68-69 degrees), and due to this improved starting angle of the trigger face, being a short-stroke trigger, no pre-travel adjustment is available.

I thought and it appears that the set screw is used to adjust over travel since it is on the back of the trigger. Is that correct? Is there something in the design that reduces the pre travel/ takeup?

Yes, the set screw included is adjustable once the trigger is installed, so you can find your ideal comfort setting before adding any threadlocker locktite. The striker safety lever will not interfere.
