Sig Macro P365 Trigger Spring kit
I have a Sig Macro P365 which came with a flat trigger however, the creep, the scratching/grinding when I pulled the trigger was poor and heavy. The install was simple in the slide but, it was a painful for the Fire Control Unit. Be patient, be patient and be patient. As frustrating as the install was in the end.......... WOW the results are great! Smooth and light trigger pull hoovering at 3.8 lbs. I have ALWAYS had great results with all the spring kits..... just a work of advice - be patient - you will love the results
Working on my P365
I bought the trigger spring kit, PTFE grease and small Notch-Cut Tip flat blade tool. They all worked great. The initial trigger pull on my pistol was ~4lb 8oz and after installing the spring kit it's down to 3lb 8 oz and nice and smooth with a short reset.
The Sig P365's FCU is a complicated little bugger so watching M*Carbo's video was invaluable. I brought it up on my tablet and would watch a section and pause the video while duplicating what I'd just seen. The Notch-cut Tip Flathead tool works well for removing the slide end cap and when removing and installing the trigger return spring. You can use a right angle dental pick but this tool makes it much easier. The PTFE Synthetic grease really does hold the sear spring in position while you insert the pin.
A worthwhile investment in the little Sig.
TRIGGER KIT
INSTALLED MCARBO'S TRIGGER KIT IN MY XMACRO P365 AND THE PULL IS MUCH BETTER. IT DOES TAKE ALOT OF TRAVEL OUT AND THE WALL IS MORE DEFINED, AND BREAKS QUICK UNLIKE THE STOCK KIT AS IT WAS JUST MUSHY AND ALMOST UNPREDICTABLE. THE RESET IS MUCH BETTER ALSO, MAKES FOR A FASTER FOLLOW UP SHOT. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT IN SHOOTING HABITS BUT THE TRIGGER PULL IS BETTER IMO, MY AIM ISN'T HENDERED BY THE OVER TRAVELING, MUSHY FEELING TRIGGER WITH LONG RESETS. WAITING ON MY FLAT TRIGGER KIT FROM MCARBO AND UPDATED FIRING PIN TO ARRIVE TO LEAVE A REVIEW OF HOW IT FUNCTIONS WITH THEIR ENTIRE KIT.
Good upgrade
You get three springs. The large striker spring is in a separate baggie, which is labeled. If you bought the replacement titanium striker here, this spring is unnecessary, as MCarbo customer service told me it is already upgraded. The pistol is at my gunsmith’s now getting a bunch of MCarbo upgrades (the flat trigger upgrade looks too tricky for me). New striker, heavy duty recoil spring, and flat trigger/spring upgrades. Can’t wait for it to be done.
Great trigger upgrade
Received my spring kit today and I have it installed at a local gun shop here in Meridian, MS. The trigger pull is much better than the stock springs. I still have some trigger roughness, so I will have to install the complete trigger package to get rid of the roughness. I like a smooth pull on the trigger.
Great Upgrade
I installed this product and it is a great upgrade for my firearm. The installation videos are the best.
Spring kit made more difference on previous pistols
The other 365s, that I installed the spring kits in started out 7#-8# and the spring kits reduced the pull weight to 4#-5#, but I just bought a lightly used Macro Comp from a guy and even though it measured 4#, I ordered a spring kit for it, because the guy said it was stock. I replaced the springs, and it’s only about 1/2 pound lighter. I didn’t compare springs, this time, before installing, but I pulled out the striker spring, because it’s the easiest spring to take out, and I measured it against the factory spring and they are exactly the same. Maybe Sig is now putting lighter springs in their pistols?
Fantastic upgrade!
Springs went in easy and the result is a far superior shooting experience and faster re-acquisition. Nice work guys!
I own an XMacro, just got the kit today, and the video shows a completely different end cap assembly than the XMacro, so now I am stuck and cant install this, because there isn't a space to push the striker ring down and I don't want to mess my gun up. What gives, and why didn't anyone mention that Xmacros aren't the same?!
While I found the somewhat obscure video in question Blythe same evening before the other reply to my question, it’s stilll torques me that MCarbo wouldn’t take the time to make some sort of small note somewhere on the page or in the notes of the installation video (not saying you’d have to reshoot it) that would make people aware that ALL NEW. 365s ship with a slide striker spring collar that prevents the end cap from being removed in the manner shown on the video.
This isn’t some small detail and should be addressed considering you’re emphasizing the ease of the DYI aspect of this.
To MCarbo,
Guys this is a failure, and I’m surprised I have to address this, make some small notation or warning statement saying that all newer models can’t be disassembled in this manner.

There are other videos on Youtube that show the other end cap removal. You have to deform the plastic tab and push it to the left and down to remove the end cap. Just do a little more research, you'll find it.

Would *YOU* hesitate to install this " MCARBO spring kit " with the "MCARBO SHORT STROKE FLAT TRIGGER" on your everyday carry gun.

Put it in mine - WOW great improvement!
Will your kit work with Armory Craft's Positive Reset Trigger Return / Trigger Bar Spring? Their full kit is a 4 piece while yours is just 3. I keep hearing about your springs so, I'm swapping my Armory Craft - P365 Ultimate Master Spring Tuning Kit with yours to see what the rave is about.

Will the spring kit also work on the p365xl spectre comp?
Why no sanding/ polishing on this spring set change? Will polishing reduce the trigger pull a little more?
Thanks brothers!!

Will this kit work on the P365XL, I the FCU ’s are the same besides the flat trigger
Thanks
Yes it will, our kit has been tested on all 365 models outside the Macro since that is a relatively new model.
Do you have an installation video for p365-380 without the manual safety?
the installation video on the website is without a manual safety.
the installation video on the website is without a manual safety.
the installation video on the website is without a manual safety.
What would be the effect if I installed just the striker springs? I am looking to reduce the trigger pull but also smooth it out.
By Just changing a spring you won't be getting the full benefits from the kit so you won't see much reduction
How much will this lower the pull weight WITHOUT installing the striker spring?
if you install the other springs it should be pretty close to what we advertise. It wont be spot on however it should be with in a pound. Its hard to give an exact measurement since each firearm is different and springs usually have a + or - a pound to them.
How much harder is it to install in a p365 with external safety?
Not much harder, all you have to do is remove the safety to make it easier to complete the install.
Does this work with the P365 .380 model?
yes our spring kit works in all P365 models!
Looking to improve take up and reset WITHOUT lowering pull weight. Will a combination of your springs and stock springs do the trick? Looking at your trigger shoe as well. Thanks!
Sorry for our delayed response in the Q&A's! If you want reduced pretravel and a crisper reset without decreasing your trigger pull weight, you definitely need our Short-Stroke Flat Trigger! Here's the link to this product:
https://www.mcarbo.com/sig-sauer-p365-short-stroke-flat-trigger-upgrade.aspx
This trigger will fit and function perfectly with the stock springs, which will ensure you maintain your current pull weight, and will give you everything you are looking for.
Does this work with the P365X?
Awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this with us and other customers!

I just finished putting this kit in my Sig P365X Romeo Zero and the function test checks out find. Haven't tried it at the range yet, but will in a few days.
I don't have a trigger gauge, but I'd say it lowered the trigger pull by a couple of pounds and I didn't install the sear spring...yet.

Yes. I can confirm, this does work with P365X. Followed the video and installed the kit. There is a slight difference with the P365X where the small spring behind the sleeve on the striker does not exist with the P365X. This is not a spring that is part of this kit, but it shows up in the install video. Just want others to be aware. The pistol performed flawlessly and felt great!
