I installed this trigger along with the spring kit on my P365 SAS over two successive evenings. I was a bit frightened to disassemble the FCU; however, with M*CARBO’s videos, it turned out to be a piece of cake … almost. After reassembling the FCU, when I pulled the trigger, nothing happened! I called M*CARBO support; we backed out the set screw on the trigger just a tad; and my SAS successfully dry fired. Kudos to Support!!! The instructions on the trigger installation say to insert the set screw just far enough so that 2 threads are showing; however, on my particular pistol or on this specific trigger, that was 1 thread too many! Before installing these new springs and trigger, my trigger weight average after 5 pulls was 5lbs. 13.4oz. Now it’s 3lbs. 5.7oz. … and I haven’t even taken it to the range to break in the springs yet! Bravo to M*CARBO for all their emails and help on the phone!!!
I installed the trigger upgrade along with the spring kit... sig is not glock however after several hours on the installation video and 1 call to tech, I was able to get it working...great quality as always as well as top notch service! Be advised that it is a 4 on a 1-5 for difficulty.
Great trigger, really makes the pull more consistent and shorter!
The trigger and spring kit are awesome two of my friends are ordering them enough said.
The install was a bit tricky due to the safety lever on my X Macro not laying fully flat. Makes the slide catch a bit but eventually got it working. The trigger is very smooth and solved most of my issues with the OEM long travel. Love the trigger and highly recommend!!
Love the trigger great feel and easy installation although it's slightly different if you have a p365 x macro with the manual safety but still very easy and works great!
I bought a black trigger last year, and I like it, so I bought a red one. However, the red one had a little bit of a fitment issue, and I had to file a few thousandths off of the top-front edge (forward of the trigger pin) before I could get enough swing to get the takedown lever back in place. Not sure if this is an X-Macro revision (didn’t try it on my p365), or if it just slipped through the cracks. Still, I give it 5 stars.
The Trigger is worth every penny. Yes it is twice the price but as the saying goes “you get what you pay for”. Once you take the trigger out of the bag you can feel this is a quality machined part. A standard at MCarbo. Once the Trigger is installed you instantly see the real magic. It has very short travel with a crisp break. Truly a delight. So if it is so great why the 4 Star review you ask? Simple. For the first time the install video was not great. Chris made one video that is an hour and 9 minutes long. It should have been 3 videos. The first part which is 35 minutes is the data about the Trigger and the reasons you will be happy spending twice the price over Sig’s Flat Trigger. Chris is right it is worth every penny. The second part should be the install of the Trigger. The Third part should be the install of the Trigger Spring Kit and during reassembly replace the old trigger with MCarbo’s Flat Trigger. Why is this important? No doubt Chris knows what he is doing. The problem is first I already bought the trigger so I don’t need that part. You say just fast forward it. True. The problem is if you want to review a step try and rewind 30 seconds of a 1 hour 9 minute video. In my case I am reasonably new to changing out parts so I need the install videos. The second problem is that I was just following step by step and ended up stripping the entire FCU like I was changing out the Spring Kit which wasn’t necessary. I had previously changed out the Trigger Spring Kit for MCarbo’s. Definitely a game changer! So I ended up taking the Spring Kit out and the just putting it back in. For me changing out the Trigger Spring is difficult and time consuming if you aren’t real familiar with the inner workings. The third issue and probably the most important to me is Chris is always moving his hands so for someone reasonably knew it is hard to see what each part is suppose to look like after it is reinstalled. For instance when i was all done my takedown part was loose. I don’t know why and I couldn’t figure it out. I am lucky that one of the guys at a gun store I go to is happy to help me out and took the gun home and made it right. His comments were the same as I have shared. He also said=d he doesn’t know what I did wrong. He just took the gun apart and put it back together and it is right. I have bought several parts from MCarbo and will continue to do so. Their quality is surpassed!
Awesome trigger well worth it.. challenging install Install tip: maybe consider installing the take down lever first all the way at the 7’o’clock position drop in then turn. Then install the trigger and pin . Followed by the rest of the components. This is the only way i was able to make it work as there are no videos addressing this exact part. That said, SigGuy youtube video will help along the way .
Trigger went in smoothly, coupled with the spring kit. Much lighter trigger pull! One complication I had was the manual safety which I previously installed. Had to refresh on that one and made reassembly slightly more complex. Recommend a COMPLETE video on a 365 or XL showing trigger install plus spring kit working around the manual safety. That would be nice. I will order a trigger for my 365 and do this all over again. Off to the range!
Did the complete MCARBO 365 upgrade. Great upgrade and improved the trigger dramatically. Have a 320 X Legion and the upgraded 365 trigger is very similar to the X5 which is outstanding. Its a must do upgrade. MCARBO is the best out there: Customer service, shipping speed, videos, products! After completing the 365 upgrade i did the complete LCP upgrade as well. Both were outstanding! Money well spent.
Install was rather easy and no issues. I watched the video 3 times and used it while doing the install. All good and yes it is much better. Thanks for the quick shipping and all the detailed emails !!! Good job . BTW that little set screw and allen key is the smallest i have ever seen....it was the easiest part of the install
Very disappointed. Everything installed just fine until the safety bar will not drop down to allow the slide to go on. Looks to me that the trigger if sat farther forward it would allow the trigger bar farther rearward in turn letting the safety bar to drop down. I suspect a geometry issue. Hopefully it will get resolved quickly
Doesn't work in my gun. No that its been installed i can't return it based on return policy.
This trigger along with M Carbo's trigger spring kit and titanium striker assembly is a major improvement vs the OEM trigger. I also polished internal FCU components, but the fact is, without these upgrades the trigger wouldn't feel as smooth or easy to operate as it does now. The short stroke has moved the trigger back enough to place finger on trigger guard when drawing from a holster, which for hands was difficult with the OEM configuration . Reduced pre travel has increased draw to first shot accuracy and the now predictable break and shorter reset allows for faster follow up shots. As for the reduced power spring kit +400 rounds in without any light strikes on my carry ammo.
