AR-15 Extra Power Magazine Spring Replacement:
Upgrade the performance of your AR-15 with our Extra Power Magazine Spring Replacement. Made from heavy gauge premium spring steel, this replacement spring offers 15% more strength over factory mag springs, providing greater operating performance and reliability.
Leaving your 30 round magazine loaded for an extended period of time can cause the magazine spring to lose its intended stiffness, resulting in a weaker magazine spring that will not properly present the next round for your bolt to grab and feed into the chamber. To ensure reliability of your AR-15, it's recommended to replace your weaker factory mag spring with the Best Extra Power AR-15 Mag Spring, which will last longer and provide optimal performance.
This Extra Power Mag Spring is compatible with GI Mags, Magpul PMAG's, ProMags, and similar variations of these, excluding Hexmags.
Most shooters report that these MCARBO Extra Power AR-15 Mag Springs feed much better than factory and provide more reliability. The stiffer magazine spring puts more tension between the floorplate and follower, while holding 30 rounds per mag.
This is a great opportunity to clean the inside of the magazine, inspect the follower and floor plate, and inspect the feed lips for any damage or cracking. It's a preventative maintenance that should be conducted every three months to ensure the reliability of your AR-15.
Don't settle for a weaker standard mag spring that may cause Failure-To-Feed Malfunctions. Upgrade your AR-15 with the Best AR 15 Extra Power Mag Springs to give yourself the most reliability and performance out of your AR. Additionally, it's always a good idea to keep back-up replacement parts in case of panic buying in the future, or if you have a 10 round blocked magazine and move to a state where 30 round mags are allowed, you can use these to convert the restricted mags.

Wonderful upgrade
I shoot competitively in 3 gun and Tactical rifle matches and cannot afford my magazines to fail me during a competition so I install these Xtra power springs in all my PMAG's.
Get some for your rifle magazines and take the worry out of ever having those factory springs going soft and not feeding properly. Thanks MCarbo !
Lancer mag spring replacement
I ordered some of these mag springs for my lancer 30 rd and they fit perfect and feel better, will order a couple more to keep Incase.
Smooth
Very high quality springs, first install was super smooth. Most aftermarket springs feel like they are binding up and breaking them in sucks. But not their springs like butter.
Awesome springs! Replaced all my AR15 mags. The difference is noticeably. Mags work flawlessly! Thanks again!
these springs have more tension
i like the extra spring tension i leave some of my magazines loaded these are ideal for me for what i feel is reliabilty when it counts for the money you cant go wrong .
Extra Power helps mags function
Was having multiple "failure to feed" issues when shooting "rapid fire". Changed to the "extra-power" springs and solved the problem. The springs made the magazine function without any misfeeds.
BIG DIFFERENCE
Once I opened the package I knew these springs were a game changer. It was a simple swap and I have the confidence that my ammo will feed each and every time I pull the trigger
Does appear to be 10% stronger, fits Magpul mags perfectly, but may need a little bending to fit Lancer mag's follower better.
The springs have the same number of coils as the OEM Magpul and Lancer springs for the 30 rd mags, but they weight 10% more (22 vs 20 grams), thus, assuming similar steel being used, they should be 10% stronger.
I took one star off because while the springs fit the Magpul mags just fine, I did have to bend the top coil a little bit to get it snap into the Lancer mag followers so that it sat flat. Also, the top coil's shape was not consistent across all springs -- some required more or slightly different bending to fit the Lancer mag followers properly.
How does this spring affect the feed lips on polymer mags? Would the extra tension cause them to "flex" sooner?
The extra tension won't compromise the structural integrity of the feed lips. We designed this spring to provide extra power but not so much that it creates extra problems. Thanks for asking that one.
Will these springs work with a Magpul PMAG Gen M3?
Will these work with lancer magazines?
We haven't tested on that magazine, but it works in all stander size magazines.
Any reason these are not recommended for Palmeto state and Surefeed mags? Minimum Standard 30 rounds.
Due to comparability issues
I’m converting some Magpul gen M3 mags from 5.56 to 300 blk. Will these springs work for that purpose?

Do you’ll have a spring replacement for a 10 round clip? If so what is the order #?
BullyG January 26, 2023 9:16 AM
We do not, we only carry the spring for the 30 round standard capacity magazines.
I have the Hexmags what makes these springs work with them?
October 16, 2022 11:38 AM
Hexmag's followers have a slight difference in them that make our sping and GI mag springs unable to fit without modification.
How many springs come in one pack?
Do these work in 300 blackout pmags?
