    365 Flat Trigger
    review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
The Trigger is worth every penny. Yes it is twice the price but as the saying goes “you get what you pay for”. Once you take the trigger out of the bag you can feel this is a quality machined part. A standard at MCarbo. Once the Trigger is installed you instantly see the real magic. It has very short travel with a crisp break. Truly a delight.

So if it is so great why the 4 Star review you ask? Simple. For the first time the install video was not great. Chris made one video that is an hour and 9 minutes long. It should have been 3 videos. The first part which is 35 minutes is the data about the Trigger and the reasons you will be happy spending twice the price over Sig’s Flat Trigger. Chris is right it is worth every penny. The second part should be the install of the Trigger. The Third part should be the install of the Trigger Spring Kit and during reassembly replace the old trigger with MCarbo’s Flat Trigger. Why is this important? No doubt Chris knows what he is doing. The problem is first I already bought the trigger so I don’t need that part. You say just fast forward it. True. The problem is if you want to review a step try and rewind 30 seconds of a 1 hour 9 minute video. In my case I am reasonably new to changing out parts so I need the install videos. The second problem is that I was just following step by step and ended up stripping the entire FCU like I was changing out the Spring Kit which wasn’t necessary. I had previously changed out the Trigger Spring Kit for MCarbo’s. Definitely a game changer! So I ended up taking the Spring Kit out and the just putting it back in. For me changing out the Trigger Spring is difficult and time consuming if you aren’t real familiar with the inner workings. The third issue and probably the most important to me is Chris is always moving his hands so for someone reasonably knew it is hard to see what each part is suppose to look like after it is reinstalled. For instance when i was all done my takedown part was loose. I don’t know why and I couldn’t figure it out. I am lucky that one of the guys at a gun store I go to is happy to help me out and took the gun home and made it right. His comments were the same as I have shared. He also said=d he doesn’t know what I did wrong. He just took the gun apart and put it back together and it is right.

I have bought several parts from MCarbo and will continue to do so. Their quality is surpassed!

Great improvement over the stock flat trigger. Along with the spring kit, it really makes this gun fun to shoot.

Did the complete MCARBO 365 upgrade. Great upgrade and improved the trigger dramatically. Have a 320 X Legion and the upgraded 365 trigger is very similar to the X5 which is outstanding. Its a must do upgrade. MCARBO is the best out there: Customer service, shipping speed, videos, products! After completing the 365 upgrade i did the complete LCP upgrade as well. Both were outstanding! Money well spent.

    It’s a must for your P365
This turned out very well and was able to adjust pretravel down quite a bit.

The trigger is very nice and with the spring kit, I was able to reduce the trigger pull quite a bit. It helps out the accuracy of the gun since I have been using it in competition. The Sig P365 X Macro Series is turning out to be a very good pistol.
    Great trigger

I installed the M*Carbo flat trigger in my P365 last week and have fired 100 rounds with it so far. The trigger is a definite improvement over the stock curved trigger. It has a lot less uptake, a clean break, and a much shorter reset.
    A must have

The stock p365 trigger gave a plastic scratchy feel for me. This upgrade is awesome. Very smooth solid feel. If you want a clean crisp trigger pull for p365 this trigger is a must have. I did not find it to be difficult to install either. Mcarbo has excellent video tutorials.

we are sending out batches of machined triggers to our Second Process vendor for surface finishing on a consistent basis and will fill all backorders in the order of when they were placed! How's the trigger reach on this versus the standard curved trigger? I tried the factory flat trigger and went back to the curved because it was easier for me to reach.

The resting position of our Flat Trigger sits further back than both of the OEM triggers, with the "short-stroke" shortened pre-travel instilled in its design. This will allow you more space for your finger between the trigger and the guard and will be a much more comfortable reach. Chris does cover this in our recently uploaded video as well!

    Question:
Does this trigger reduce the pre travel of the P365 and by how much? And if it does, does the striker safety lever interfere with assembly/disassembly?
    MysterE December 19, 2021 7:04 PM
    Answers
I apologize yes the set screw is to adjust over-travel. The trigger will sit at a better starting angle (right at 80 degrees) compared to Sig's MIM flat trigger (which is about 68-69 degrees), and due to this improved starting angle of the trigger face, being a short-stroke trigger, no pre-travel adjustment is available.
    Answered by
    Abby Marino / January 5, 2022 2:55 PM
I thought and it appears that the set screw is used to adjust over travel since it is on the back of the trigger. Is that correct? Is there something in the design that reduces the pre travel/ takeup?
    Answered by
    MysterE / December 20, 2021 2:06 PM
Yes, the set screw included is adjustable once the trigger is installed, so you can find your ideal comfort setting before adding any threadlocker locktite. The striker safety lever will not interfere.

I had the same issue with my new 365 X-Macro there was not enough clearance in the rear. I tried to even to Dremel the rear or trigger so it would pass and ended up giving up and put the stock trigger back in with trigger spring kit

The FCU for the 365 models are the same, the only difference is slide length and grip size of the pistols. We also have had good feed back from our 365x customers.

We recommend placing your order and we will ship it out as soon as possible! We are currently non-stop running these triggers in our CNC machines and are sending them out in batches to our Vendor for the surface finishing process. All backorders are being filled oldest to newest, so placing your order will keep your spot in line :) We are working as hard as we can to try to catch back up!!

we are sending out batches of machined triggers to our Second Process vendor for surface finishing on a consistent basis and will fill all backorders in the order of when they were placed! The average lead time between batches is around 3-4 weeks, depending on our vendor's lead times and shipping.

I apologize yes the set screw is to adjust over-travel. The trigger will sit at a better starting angle (right at 80 degrees) compared to Sig's MIM flat trigger (which is about 68-69 degrees), and due to this improved starting angle of the trigger face, being a short-stroke trigger, no pre-travel adjustment is available.

I thought and it appears that the set screw is used to adjust over travel since it is on the back of the trigger. Is that correct? Is there something in the design that reduces the pre travel/ takeup?

Yes, the set screw included is adjustable once the trigger is installed, so you can find your ideal comfort setting before adding any threadlocker locktite. The striker safety lever will not interfere.
