Sig Sauer P365 Short Stroke Flat Trigger
This precision-engineered upgrade is CNC machined from solid 4140 steel, ensuring maximum durability and reliability. It is designed to correct common Sig Sauer P365 problems associated with MIM (Metal Injection Molded) parts, offering a significant improvement over factory components.
Experience a 33% reduction in travel over the OEM trigger, with improved reset and break angles. The Short Stroke design allows the shooter to place their finger lower on the trigger, improving leverage and creating the feel of a 1/2lb lighter trigger pull. With the included over-travel set screw, you can fine-tune your trigger to achieve maximum reduction.
This upgrade includes an extra smooth edge and rounded tip on the bottom of the trigger to prevent trigger bite. The trigger is tumbled smooth and finished with a lifetime-lasting black nitride.
We recommend installing the Sig P365 Trigger Spring Kit simultaneously for a reduced workload and an overall trigger pull reduction of up to ~40% less than the factory trigger pull. Experience an enhanced, clean, and crisp Sig P365 Trigger Pull.
Say goodbye to factory MIM parts and hello to increased reliability and performance with these precision Sig Sauer P365 accessories, designed by combat veterans. Choose the best Sig Sauer P365 upgrades for competition-level performance!

Absolutely Killer upgrade for the P365! Love the overtravel stop!
Very effective overtravel stop, works very well and you can dial it in to suit your liking. You most definitely need to loctite the set screw, as it's a loose fitting set screw. What I did to adjust the over travel screw is this: After your loctite has set a slight bit, then you can dial it in properly. After trigger is installed, make sure you turn the set screw with 2 threads showing as it protrudes out the top --- then that should give you somewhat of a starting point. Test the trigger gently, see if it will break, if it does adjust it inward (clockwise) just enough until the trigger stops breaking, then back off a very slight bit at a time until you can just get the trigger to break, then break consistently, once you are absolutely certain that it continues to break consistently under all circumstances, then the gun should be good for initial test firing. If at any time you can still adjust slightly later.
Over all the quality and change in geometry is very noticable, Quality is superb. Fit and Finish are top notch. No complaints at all, as a matter of fact I'm ordering another one for my other gun! Highly recommend!

Great trigger upgrade
This upgrade is well worth the money and time to install. My original trigger wasn’t real bad, but had some creep when pulling past the wall. I installed the trigger. I had a little trouble when installing with having a piece fall out due to pulling a pin too far out. It took me a little extra time to install due to that. If I had more experience with disassembling and reassembling the fcu then I’m sure I could’ve done it much faster. Wasn’t real bad, just took me a little time. The mcarbo trigger sits at a better angle than stock. When I pull the trigger, it hits a definite wall at around the 90 degree mark and there is pretty much no creep on my trigger pull now. It feels really crisp. I didn’t have to adjust the pretravel screw after install, because it luckly seemed to be perfectly set when I inserted it before the install. The trigger pull is a night and day difference. I’m very happy with it. The trigger pull may be slightly benefited by the fact that I had installed the titanium striker assembly prior to the trigger install. I’m thinking that after I installed the striker assembly, I did notice a slightly better trigger pull on my stock trigger. Great product.
HUGE DIFFERENCE
I am so happy I bought this short stroke trigger. It’s so much better. The stock trigger was horrible so that is when I started looking for an upgrade. Found this one from Mcarbo and it’s a million times better. Definitely buy. Thanks, Mcarbo, for making this trigger.
P365 X-Macro Custom Build
Recently I built a X-Macro. I started with a performance works Gold TiN FCU, Sharps Bros Aluminum Grip Module, and a Norsso Piranha Bull Barrell and Slide set. Of course, i had to source and install the slide completion parts. I choose to use the MCARBO striker, extractor and Trigger plus misc ISMI springs. Originally, I had only installed the striker, the supplied striker spring and the Edge Extractor kit. I used a factory SIG Striker Block kit. I added a Trijicon RMRcc, as I am not a fan of Chinese made optics. I also added a NDZ Performance Guide Rod assembly. I had dry fire tested the trigger and striker combination; I was amazed at how much crisper and cleaner the trigger break was even with the SIG FCU Factory trigger. took it to the range and the Striker worked flawlessly with 50 rounds. I took the gun back home and proceeded with the Trigger Install. I did not modify any of the Factory FCU springs. The resultant trigger pull weight is 3.75 Lbs. when pulled along the lowest point on the MCARBO trigger. The resulting trigger brake and reset are amazing. Back to the range and another 50 Rounds with flawless striker performance. The grips are from Burkett Customs and made from a 20,000-year-old Woolly Mammoth Tooth. https://burkettcustoms.com/
Works on my P365CA
My hope with this trigger was to have my trigger finger a bit further forward (towards the front of the trigger guard) when the gun fires. The reason is that my my trigger finger often touches my thumb right before it breaks. This is because my hands are very large and my fingers are long. According to the install video at 7:12, the front face of the trigger should be approx .928in from the front of the trigger guard. I compared that to the 1.12in that I measured with my stock trigger, which would be a significant improvement. Unfortunately after installing this new trigger, I now measure 1.10in, and so don't notice any real improvement in this regard. Basically, the front face of this trigger and the stock curved trigger are at the same forward position when it breaks, and all I learned is that my method for measuring its position differs from how M*Carbo did it. I do like that I now have a flat trigger with a parallel backside, which would theoretically permit me to fasten a ~0.1in spacer to the front face of the trigger with tapped holes added to the trigger face. I'll only do this if I end up getting too desperate with my problem.
Otherwise, the install was smooth and I wisely skipped through most of the video and so didn't needlessly perform what seems like a full disassembly. As soon as I could get the old trigger off, I was able to get the new trigger on (no need to remove sear, etc). I was also able to leave the mag disconnect in place without issue, confirming no fitment with this CA model. Overall fitment seems excellent and I much appreciate the detailed video and well-machined part.
HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Will I ever receive my order?
I placed an order over a week ago for the short stroke trigger for my P365 in red. I emailed the company about it because I still have yet to receive a confirmation / tracking number about it being sent out, they supposedly say they are the fastest at shipping out orders. It took them a couple days to even get back to me about it and when they did they said it was on back order, when I put in my order it said nothing about it being on back order. Now even emailing them it takes a while for them to get back to me. I would not recommend ordering from this company. Still to this day I haven’t received anything about my order being sent out.
Flat Trigger P365
Just installed the trigger and am very happy with it. Your instruction video was well done and a good guide to making the change. I had the original curved trigger and it caused quite a bit of jump in the sights. This new trigger removes almost all of that. I will continue and try the lighter striker spring to get to the 3lb range. But I really am impressed with the new action.
Great value and quality trigger.
The first thing I do when I get or build a new firearm is drop in a straight/upgraded trigger. Although my X Macro Comp came with a straight trigger, I still wanted an improvement over OEM and definitely got it with this one. Love the adjustment capability, and I always like "less is more" as far as it has everything you need and nothing you do not.
Also added the spring kit after the trigger, and if I could do it all over again, I would get them at the same time.
Looking for instructions on how to properly adjust the overtravel screw. Did not find that info in the 1hr 10min install video. Thank you.
It is covered at the 25 min mark. About 2 threads should be showing.

Will this work for my sig p365 xf Dx3?
I'm asking for a friend, while I very highly highly highly recommended that he do not remove the mag disconnect on his P365CA... he removed the mag disconnect and previously already purchased the mCarbo CA compliant flat trigger model. Would the flat trigger CA model still work on his p365 now that the mag disconnect is now removed or will he now need to purchase another flat trigger kit (non-CA) model?
February 13, 2026 3:19 PM
Yes, the mCarbo CA compliant flat trigger model will work on a California-compliant SIG Sauer P365 X-Macro Comp if the magazine disconnect is removed. Users confirm that removing the magazine disconnect, along with replacing the CA-specific trigger pivot pin with a standard non-CA pin, allows the aftermarket trigger to function correctly.
Key Considerations:
Magazine Disconnect Removal: The California-specific mag disconnect must be removed, as the new trigger is not designed to work with it.
Trigger Pin Change: The CA-specific trigger pin has a nub that prevents proper fitment of aftermarket triggers; it must be replaced with a standard, non-CA P365 trigger pin.

I don't see the Red Finish as an option for the trigger. Did you stop making it or is it just out of stock?

Will this trigger work with the 365 axg legion all aluminum models
Yes - The Trigger is compatible with the AXG Legion
Is the California complaint model due to the magazine disconnect? If so, if it was removed would you get the regular version?

Great question! Yes, the Sig Sauer P365 grip modules are available in both:? Manual Safety Cut Version ? Non-Safety Version
I have your trigger installed which I love. My question is how do you upgrade your take down lever after your MCARBO Trigger upgrade? The new trigger seams to block it from coming out. Do you have a video on this?

Hey there for in depth questions like this please reach out to us at help@mcarbo.com for a more complete answer.
Saw a prior question about AXG Legion in February of 2025 stating a trigger would be release in early 2025 that works with the Legion. Any update on this?
Since you currently do not offer a nickle, or silver colored trigger for your trigger system, can you recommend one that would work with your system?
At this time we would not be able to confirm what aftermarket triggers do work with out parts as we haven't tested most of them.

Is this trigger compatible with the Crimson Trace LG422 laser?
Will this trigger reduce any pre-travel or bring the trigger face closer to the wall? Only complaint left on this build is how far forward the trigger sits even after switching to the oem sig flat trigger.
Yes - Compared to the OEM Sig flat trigger, our design sits further rearward in the trigger guard.
I assume you do not offer a silver or nickel trigger option, does your system work with a different flat silver or nickel trigger?
At this time we do not offer those options. We can't speak to every aftermarket part without testing so at this time we do not know.
Hi, Any chance you’ll be offering a silver or nickel finish for the p365 flat trigger?
Do you offer custom color, aside from those listed? Looking for a bronze/copper trigger.
is the new trigger for the 365 legion available yet ???
Do you offer the California version in gold?

Has the AXG Legion compatible version been released?
Has the AXG Legion compatible version been released?
The current version of this trigger will not work with the Legion. If you contact us we can modify the trigger to make it work in the Legion. You can also modify the trigger yourself to make it work in the Legion, which requires slightly rounding off the two rearward corners of the trigger. We are currently working on a new design to work with the Legion and hope to have release it early 2025.

The spring kit will enhance the performance of the trigger. The OEM springs will work with this kit too.

I have the California edition of the P365 but I have removed the magazine disconnect. If I were to order the trigger would I order the Cali edition trigger or just the regular trigger?
Mcarbo does not recommend removing or disabling safety feature. However, in this circumstance the regular trigger would be the best choice.

How do you address the issue in some FCU where the safety will not go down far enough to allow the slide to go back on. Seems to be a common problem found with a quick Google search, but the solution is not clear.
We have revised the design of our trigger to compensate for this issue.

I filed the forward edge of the trigger the contracts the FCU so the trigger would swing forward enough for the FPS lever to go down enough to clear the back plate cap
You can trim the back plate cap on the right bottom just a smidge or you can ordered a modified one from tactical trigger.

I'd like an answer for that too. Seems that the trigger needs to be farther forward to allow the trigger to be farther back allowing the safety bar to drop down. I think its a machining issue

Will this trigger work with the 365X Macro Comp
Works perfectly in my X-Macro Comp and has for 5000+ rounds. My son shoots this gun in USPSA and this trigger has been awesome with zero issues. With all of the things I've done to "Race Gun" it I'm now in the process of building an XL with the leftover factory parts. I'm waiting on the FCU now as soon as I get it I'll order another mCarbo trigger for that.
No it will not. I tried to install it on my xmacro comp. It failed for the same reasons that were put forward by Ben Bradow and Drew Almy. Do NOT buy this for the xmacro comp.

I had the exact same issue as Ben Bradow (answered question below and also a lengthy explanation in the review section). Mine is an X, already have this trigger installed in 2 other guns without issue. The recent recieved trigger shoe has bad geometry not allowing the safety lever to fully seat. Cannot install slide. Swapped parts out of all 3 p365s I have and same results using newest mcarbo trigger. I hope they address my issue and don’t give me the same response Ben got
