Stuck due to sharp/bur edge
I really like the spring and trigger, but this part is a flop.
The sharp edge on top of the cylinder will catch onto the polymer frame. No matter if I pressed hard onto the frame, this pin simply don't come out. End up having to pry a bit and scuff the slide slightly.
Please look into it, this is not an isolated issue.
STICK WITH THE FACTORY TAKEDOWN PIN
This pin might be "technically" superior to the factory takedown pin, but it is extremely difficult to get out without scratching the slide or frame. I had high hopes for this product, but will never use this in the LCP Max again. I'll buy a couple of extra OEM pins as spares.
Take down pin
I thought I was gonna break my gun getting this out after I put it in so after looking at it, I put it in a drill took a small foul took some of the edge off of it now it works perfect but if you ain’t got that kind of knowledge, I wouldn’t purchase this at all. Once you put it in and try to take it back out. it ain’t even close to what their video shows. How hurt it to get out.
Fits
Fits but when you try to remove it pulls the frame I must have gotten a bad one
Not Good
The problem with this Mcarbo takedown pin is it's to tight. When trying to remove the Pin it is so tight it actually flexes the Polymer part of the frame of my LCP Max and that's not good. And i scratched my slide trying to get it out. I will stick with factory pin never had a problem with it walking out or breaking. 16 dollars wasted for Mcarbo pin lesson learned.
Poor customer service
Received a shipping and notice going on 5 days ago tracking shows I have not received the item tried to contact customer support with no results cannot reach my phone will not respond to email or text they used to be my choice for parts however like so many others they have become very independent and down the tubes
great quality upgrade
I put this upgrade in my LCP MAX several hundred rounds ago and it has functioned perfectly so when I got my wife one I made sure to install one of these in hers.

So the take down pins are different between LCP 2 and LCP MAX?
Yes they have different dimensions.
Is there a reason why there is a slot in the end of this take down pin? Also I see they are currently back ordered, is there going to be a design update to the new batch of pins? Thank you for your time.
The slot helps to index the divot in the pin toward the retainer spring. We are doing some light design tweaks and will have it in stock again shortly.
