Slick piece
Nice polished stainless rod makes sense to change out the factory carbon steel piece. I installed this and your take down pin before even going to the firing range! They make sense, I plan to keep this pistol a long time.
No good!!
Put in the aftermarket pin and my slide jammed to the rear!! Started to pry the barrel pin out and it slammed into battery! Slide is rubbing the pin!
Texted, emailed, emailed again support and crickets!! No one there! Just out some money on a crack pot idea!

The pin is easy to install. I added a bit of red paint to mine.
No Reason Not To
I installed this at the same time as all other available springs and trigger because there's really no reason not to. Now, I have the factory pin as a back-up just case I lose this one, and this pin just adds that little bit of extra reliability for such a small price in money and effort.

Is there a reason why there is a slot in the end of this take down pin? Also I see they are currently back ordered, is there going to be a design update to the new batch of pins? Thank you for your time.
The slot helps to index the divot in the pin toward the retainer spring. We are doing some light design tweaks and will have it in stock again shortly.
