P11 recoil spring
I measured the new recoil spring at 14 Lbs. It is rated at 20 Lbs. I measured the OEM spring at 16 Lbs. it is rated at 16 lbs. This is what caused the upper receiver to hit the slide stop, and failure to reload the second round. Optimal recoil should cause the round to eject 6-8 feel at 2 o'clock Reduced pressure should increase ejection distance and can cause the slide stop damage and failure to feed. To high recoil may cause short ejection.
P11 recoil spring
No. The recoil spring is larger diameter but absorbs less recoil. I fired one round, the upper receiver slapped back against the back of the gun rail and failed to load the next round completely. I felt the recoil in my wrist. The recoil spring is full contact larger than lower receiver grove and rubbing the barrel bottom when trying to align barrel for reassemble. Hard to assemble. The felt recoil is more than the OEM spring, less control.
Great when combined with the Metal Recoil Guide Rod
Bought this along with the metal guide rod for my P-11 being refurbished for carry, and what a difference it made!! Put 100 rounds of mixed ammo through the pistol with a definite improvement in control and minimizing recoil flip. Very pleased with the results, and will be looking for other M*CARBO items in the very near future.

Zero functional improvement
Wasted the money, hoped it would've improved the FT Feed issues but - it didn't... Purchased the 20lb spring set and the SS guide rod. Zero improvement, still a POS gun. Parts 'quality' seem quite nice so my issue isn't necessarily the parts, the gun just isn't worth the wasted cost, shipping and hype. They literally do negligible is any improvement what so ever as replacement parts.

Could not reliably operate slide on KeltecPF-9 so replaced stock with M*CARBO 20lb Spring and Stainless Steel Guide Rod and now it works perfectly. Thanks M*CARBO.

Yes — it will noticeably increase the resistance when racking the slide. The factory recoil spring for the PF-9 and P-11 is typically around 16–18 lbs.
