Kel-Tec P-11
Everything went pretty smooth on the install thanks to the vid you guys put out. One problem I had with the P-11 was I couldn't use the over travel screw, I had the front screw almost all the way in to get it to function correctly. I may have to glue my eraser back on for over travel. Love the feel of it, my finger doesn't get pinched anymore, I had a piece of electrical tape on it before so I'm happy about that part! Over all I'm a happy camper with the new trigger, I love it! Thanks Guys & Gals!
Could not get this flat trigger to work in my PF9. After multiple adjustments it would still not hit the primer hard enough to fire a round. Took it to Shoot Straight and had there gunsmith work on it they couldn’t get it to work. Had them put in the original trigger back in and it worked fine.

Wasn't sure about going flat
I am one of those people who actually likes a curved trigger. However I hated the trigger slap and all of the play in the factory trigger. I haven't gotten to the range yet with my new flat trigger, but I love the fact that it has pre and over travel adjustments, and that it's sturdier and smoother than the old cast plastic trigger, and honestly feels better than I expexted it would.
Only things I would change would be that I would provide longer set screws so that you can remove most of the pre-travel and most of the over-travel rather than taking a little out of each, or favoring one side or the other. I understand that it was done because tolerances probably vary from gun to gun, and this setup is relatively idiot proof. Personally, I'm going to try to find some longer screws, and I'll file fit them if I need to, to maximize the advantages of having those adjustments available. I also wouldn't have hated to see a small hex head on those screws rather than an allan head. Making adjustments with an allan key while the trigger is in the guard is a pain, you end up resorting to "the field expedient method" and using pliers, which works, but falls into that category of not really the right tool for the job. With a hex head and tiny wrench, adjustments would be amazingly simple.
Vast improvement!
The P-11 is a fairly rudimentary firearm which can benefit from some improvement. The most obvious area of need is the trigger profile. The curved trigger is not very ergonomic, crowding the trigger finger and pushing it into the sharp area of the trigger port. MCARBOs flat trigger alleviated this problem entirely!
Installing the trigger was not difficult, especially with the instructional video for the trigger spring replacement. This is not specific to the trigger, but it was certainly helpful. A suggestion would be to tie this process into the spring kit installation. I had no difficulty, but I am an experienced "armorer" and have done several such operations.
The quality of the trigger is first rate. Some coaching on adjustment may be found to be useful.
Overall, I am very pleased!
How the P11 & PF9 should've come from the factory
Bought the trigger and spring kit, If you are intimated, don't be, installation is just as easy as the MCARBO video makes out to be.
I have both a P11 & a PF9 along with a P3at -- I did the P11 a while ago and it is amazing, The factory trigger on the P11 left a LOT to be desired, But after tackling that I figured I'd upgrade my PF9 -- honestly the factory trigger on the PF9 isn't terrible, but this kit brings it up to what it should've been all along. On both pistols I went with the Guide Rod, Spring Kit and Trigger upgrade. Thanks Mcarbo.
Why would the trigger not reset after firing the first round? Manually working the slide resets the trigger.
