Added this spring kit along with stainless guide rod on my wife's PF-9. Excellent quality and performance, can't beat price either.
I replaced the trigger, trigger springs and guide rod in my p11 and considered each modification to be a considerable upgrade. However I was not pleased with the recoil spring kit. After reassembling the firearm with the new max control recoil springs, I could feel the coils dragging on the bottom of the barrel when working the slide by hand. The binding was severe enough that it was difficult to get the slide back far enough to lock the slide and remove the slide pin. I fired the gun and wasn’t too surprised that it malfunctioned after just a few shots. I noticed that the new spring had more side to side movement on the guide rod than the original spring and Upon measuring the outside diameter of the outer spring, found it to be .010 larger than the original. Also noticed that unlike the original spring set the new inner and outer springs were wound in the same direction allowing them to overlap and go farther off center on the guide rod which I believe added to the clearance problems I was having. I changed back to my original springs and have no more issues.

I bought this recoil spring assembly for my P11 and since installation have noticed the muzzle flip is extremely manageable. I prefer not to use the finger grip extension on my mags and this recoil spring kit aids in handling with the "two finger" grip. There were no cyclic or lock up issues as well after installation. This is an excellent upgrade for factory springs or those due for replacement.
Installed these on my PF-9. I noticed a slight reduction in recoil, that makes this light, snappy pistol a little easier to shoot.
I have installed this recoil spring in my Kel Tec PF9, and just days ago in my SCCY CPX2. Same spring fits both...this is a great/easy upgrade, to help with recoil management. M*CARBO is fast, and priced right!
My pf9 is much more controllable now. Muzzle flip is reduced with these springs. I bought these alongside the trigger spring kit to drop the trigger spring pull weight. Those two upgrades have made the pf9 a much more manageable and controllable pistol. I can group tighter and fire faster than I ever could. I have now ordered the stainless guide rod as well.
Went to the range after installing the Trigger Spring Set, SS Guide Rod and 20lb. Recoil Spring. The trigger pull has totally smoothed out! I was able to shot my P11 much more accurately. As far as felt recoil goes, I really didn't much of a difference shooting 115gr. factory target from the stock configuration. Hey, it's a light gun. I am pleased with the upgrades.
I haven’t been to the range to try this upgrade. But for the price the quality is outstanding. I could tell a difference immediately after install with the stainless guide rod! A++
I swapped springs, rod and trigger with M*Carbo replacement parts. My PF-9s are now a pleasure to shoot. Made a world of difference.
Adding these springs completed the upgrade for my P11. Along with the trigger, the trigger spring kit, the stainless guide rod, and the 12 round magazine, this pistol is now fully complete and I am confident carrying this pistol every day. Don't misunderstand, my P11 was good right out of the box, however these upgrades tend to validate this weapon. It is a super sweet shooter, and really didn't cost to much, or take too long to upgrade with M*CARBO.
