This is for the most commonly available CZ 75B which has a captured Guide Rod with no hole.
**Very Rare Scenario** Early production CZ 75B did not have a captured Guide Rod. Check front of the slide just under the barrel to ensure there is not a hole for your CZ 75B guide rod.Here is an example picture of a very uncommon CZ 75B with a guide rod that is not captured. This particular CZ 75B owner would want to get our CZ 75 SP-01 Guide Rod instead. It is very rare but possible if you have an early production CZ 75B. If you just bought yours new....please disregard this information.

Elegant stainless steel guide rod
Replaces the factory black piece of polymer which is easily launched if you have oil on your fingers and bungle putting your recoil spring back into your slide. The little sucker went into the netherworld of my garage/warehouse so I ordered the stainless steel replacement. What's nice about it is that it is designed with a small ring around making the spring captive with the guide rod. Next time I launch it it will be easier to recover. Another bonus is that when you field strip your gun the innards just look a lot classier. I've put about 100 rounds through the gun and everything works the way it's supposed to.
It's alright, but not great
The only problem I have with this guide rod is that it's designed to be captive, which is fine in most cases. However I made some recent negative discoveries about the Cz75 Mcarbo recoil spring so I decided to switch that spring with the stock spring and the part that makes this captive makes it a pain in the butt to switch out springs with this guide rod. My recommendation is to go with a different brand guide rod that isn't captive. Changes noting except makes taking the spring off and on far easier.

Piece of cake install and well worth it. Very smooth slide recoil action. Very impressed with the fit and finish of the guide rod. Just wish I could pick one up for my 97B
This was a very easy purchase from finding this site on line all the way to ordering and tracking the delivery. I feel the pricing is inline with other sites. I did find and watch the U tube tutorial by the owner on installation of the new guide rod and spring I purchased. Found out by watching video that the previous owner of my cz 75bd had replaced the spring and guide rod and had putt the spring in backwards. Thanks for the great buying experience from start to finish. I will definitely check here first for any future firearm products.
I just want to make sure since my CZ (P-01 Omega) wasn’t specifically listed as compatible. Will this guide rod work for my pistol?
No. You will need the CZ75 Compact Guide Rod.
Does the CZ75b stainless guide rod also work on the CZ97b?

No it will not, the 97B is a different caliber and uses a different guide rod from the 75B.
Does this guide rod also replace the plastic one in the 75 Compact?
This one does not, however we do have one for the compact version. Should be labeled CZ 75 compact Stainless Steel Guide Rod on the website
Does it require a new recoil spring as well, to replace the factory spring?
The Stainless Steel Guide Rod Upgrade is compatible with the factory recoil spring. No necessary to upgrade but we always recommend it.
