First let say that i love your company and what you make. I have a 2006 CZ Sp01. I installed one of your trigger kits. It went very well and smoothly, but after install i had to do a trigger adjustment on the trigger. The long pull would not fire the hammer. I still have long trigger reset but i only have one adjustment screw on my trigger. It works great now but still has a long reset. If you have any suggestions i would love hear from you. I do, hover know that some folks out there would install your kit be very Upset that gun would not know that the trigger would need to be readjusted. Maybe it needs to be said on videos. Thanks and have a great d

I did the spring rebuild kit with the upgraded trigger pin the pin didn’t fit tight like the old one but I guess it stays in place because of recessed area the trigger rides on the spring kit went in fine except for the trigger return spring that one gave me a hard time but everything seems to work better than before but haven’t shot it yet it racks easier and trigger is much lighter it was worth the money and work
The kit damaged any relability, not happy
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
I ordered and installed the kit. I watched the video and everything went well but the trigger seemed lazy to return. When I got to the range the problems really showed up. The trigger would sometime come back to reset and other time I had to manual move it back. This happened in the SA usage.

When I got home I wrote to these folks asking if there was something to look for or is this a bad trigger return spring issue. I never heard anything back.

I removed there spring and put back the factory one. The gun is reliable again.

I did not feel a great improvement in the trigger but there was some. I don't know that any other spring kit would have done better but this one broke my gun and they did not respond.
An effective upgrade!

I just finished installing this spring kit on my brand-new CZ-75B. Prior to installation I measured the double action trigger pull at an average of 11 pounds 3 ounces, and a single action average pull of 8 pounds 7 ounces. After the spring kit installation, I measured the double action trigger pull at 8 pounds 4 ounces (average) and the single action average pull of 4 pounds 3 ounces. Bear in mind that this pistol is brand new, and I fully expect the numbers to drop a pound or so with some break in.

The installation was straight forward, but at least in my case, the trigger return spring installation tried my patience a bit. The tiny installation tool included in the kit was a kind gesture, but I found an appropriately cut chunk of toothpick to be far more effective, as it was nearer the diameter of the trigger pin. However, as they used to say in car advertisements, your mileage may vary.

All in all, a well-designed product that yields claimed results.

Picked up this kit after seeing the install video on YouTube. I watched the vid like 6 times, you guys make it look easy. Just made me want it. I didn’t have a trigger gauge so not sure what the pulls were. Installed this kit myself with the video (so good) And wow! Did this like 2022, loved the results. Just got a gauge DA is like 9, SA is now 3lbs. Thank you guys. Keep up the good work. 👍🏼
phenomenal

I have this kit and the trigger pin on all of my CZ's, absolutely phenomenal results. I wonder why CZ just doesn't put these in all of their guns?
So far so good
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
I should wait to review once I've shot my p01 with the kit installed, but I will speak to the install and what I can measure for trigger pull weights.
I went ahead and purchased their punch kit as well as the forked micro tip just in case.
I see where it could fall apart really quick, but! If you are mechanically enclined and pay attention to orientation of parts and springs as well as the order of operations for this project, you should be fine.

Their instructional video, is very detailed and thorough. Showing proper procedure, as well as examples of what could go wrong and how to backtrack to fix it. 10/10 on the video and parts included.

Using a wheeler analog trigger pull scale. Factory, I measured 4lb SA pull, down to 3lb. DA I couldn't get a reading befoere but I'd guess somewhere around 9-11 as I have read is standard for DA pull weight. Down to a readable, 7 ½ lb (from the de-cocked position).

Thanks MCarbo! Y'all rock. Looking forward to my next project.

Lastly, GET THE FLOATING TRIGGER PIN. I goofed up on that.
CZ trigger kit for model 75D PCR

I dont usually do reviews but this is a exception. I purchased this kit to reduce trigger pull. It is not exactly for my gun since i own the compact CZ 75 decocker model. This a different kind of build. It will take some patience to accomplish it , but the end results will impress you. After i completed it i saw double action pull reduction of about 3 .5 pounds . The cocked pull reduced by 2.5 pounds. I also saw a reduction in the ability to decock the hammer. Unfortunately i broke a very small spring on final assembly. This spring is for a firing pin blocker lever. I do think that this spring should be added to the kit as part of it since it will be other broke or lost. If not you can find them on sale at Cajun gun works. I willsay that dealing with MCARBO is a pleasant experience. They will help you through the process and the install video is excellant
If you purchase this kit for a compact all parts will work except the hammer spring. What you do with the new one in the kit is your choice. My gun works great now and i am very happy i took the time to do it.

Question:
Will this kit work on a "Pre-B" 1980 CZ75??
Erik Hauch February 25, 2024 3:13 PM
Answers
The M*CARBO CZ 75 Trigger Spring Kit is not officially supported for "Pre-B" CZ 75 models (like your 1980 version). The original “Pre-B” CZ 75 (pre-1991) has different internal dimensions in key areas, including: Hammer, spring channel, Trigger return spring design, Sear pin placement. The B-series added a firing pin block safety and updated fire control geometry, which the M*CARBO spring kit is based on. Spring Size and Seat Differences Even if the hammer and trigger return springs look similar, the Pre-B parts were often hand-fit, and spring lengths or coil tension may not align properly. Installing the kit may result in function issues, such as: Inconsistent reset, Failure to fire due to light strikes, Incompatibility with original sear engagement angles.

They have the same configuration as the 1911 at the rear of the slide. Both guns were purchased while stationed in Germany in the early 90's. You will still get an improved trigger pull with just the kit. Polishing can and will help with trigger pull reduction, however each firearm is different so for one gun it may only be 2 or 3 ounces, while another is 6 to 8 ounces

I'm interested in your CZ 75 Trigger Spring Kit. Your heavy duty firing pin retaining pin looks coiled steel. Is there a solid steel pin that can be included with this kit? Thank you.

Hi D We do not currently have a solid steel pin for the CZ. We are always accepting new ideas, so that could change in the future!
