Pros:
• Solid metal construction
• Fine threaded movement
• Full-price return program (minus shipping)

Cons:
• Bent my factory sights and broke the tritium tube
• Pushes on the tritium housing instead of the dovetail base like a punch, which would solve that problem
• Tritium sights came with a warning against using a sights press/pusher, I wish I'd paid attention to that instead of thinking being careful and slow was enough

I cannot recommend this product, the concept is great but pushes on the upper portion of the sights instead of the dovetail, so even when using their install video and going slow, it broke my factory sights upon removal. They bent and the tritium tube was ruptured, so I cannot use them again, and have no sights on my carry gun until I can get a better tool. If it had a more exact pushing zone on the dovetail, perhaps it would work better. I didn't want to risk my new sights so I'll have to get a punch set so I can focus the impact on the dovetail and not the sight.

If you are wanting to install a Viridian RFX 1 on your Bodyguard 2.0, do not hesitate, buy the MCARBO sight removal tool. Works exactly as shown in the video. Simple, straight forward & no nonsense. After Googling sight removal for the Bodyguard and reading the stories that you had to use penetrating oil and let that set overnight & expect a struggle using universal sight removers & a loud pop when it releases or use a and hammer and punch and having to be somewhat forceful......nonsense! My Bodyguard was new and un-shot. The MCARBO removal tool absolutely the way to go.

Works great. The qr code that comes with it for directions points to mcarbo main YT channel, and the video link on the product page points to a trigger install.

I only needed to push the front so far.
With the top screw on top and closest to you, use an 11mm socket to adjust the screws all the way out and slide the pusher all the way to the right. The slide won't go in unless they are all the way out. Insert the slide through the front of the pusher, rear sights first, with it turned 45 degrees to the right so the left side of the slide is facing up. Clearance is tight, be careful, go slow. Put the slide in until the sight pusher U is even with the ejection port so you can turn the slide back straight, sights up. Adjust the pusher to the middle so to front sight is in the middle U of the pusher. Position the slide so the the U will push the front sight. Insert the plastic guards to the left and the right of the slide. Make sure the slide and plastic guards are flush with the bottom of the pusher. Snug up the right screw. Insert the third plastic guard under the top screw between the top of the slide and the screw and snug it up. Check the pusher alignment to make sure it will only push on the sight. Tighten the right screw to firm, then the top. Then use the nut that adjusts the pusher to move your sight. If she doesn't want to go, give her some heat and oil.

         

For all the talk and videos, I’ve seen about people whaling and cranking on the BG 2.0 sights to adjust or get them out, the MCARBO tool made it very easy. It’s a simple, no-frills design and uses a crescent wrench to secure the sides and top of the slide and move the pusher rather than knobs or a handle. The night before I removed the rear sight I put a drop of penetrating oil along the edges of the rear sight. The BG frame fit perfectly inside the tool and the sight slid right out smoothly and easily in a few minutes. Installed a Veridian RFX1 red dot. Highly recommend the sight remover tool!
