Failed to fire
I installed this spring kit in my new SD9 2.0 and the trigger pull went down to four pounds however I get three out of ten misfires. I'm not sure this kit works in the new 2.0
Really worked
This really worked for me. Reduced trigger pull from 7 pounds to 4.5 pounds. Went and fired 50 rounds with no light strikes. Very reliable.

I'll just say I was no fan of the original trigger in my SD40VE. This trigger kit has changed that completely. It's like a new (and better!) gun.

I installed this spring kit in a Smith Wesson SD9 2.0 and is ran well except for the firing pin spring. It will not disengage from the sear. Reinstalled the original spring and the firearm and now operating fine.

Couldn't have asked for much more out of a spring kit. Made a world of a difference to shoot and accuracy improved greatly. Now i accuracy enjoy shooting my sd40
S&W has now released the "SD9 2.0". Wondering if this spring kit will be compatible? I ask because the mfr. is strangely mum on trigger pull weight which leads me to believe that while they changed the trigger itself from a curved trigger to one that is flat-faced, the internals are likely the same. Please let us know when you test this kit in a 2.0 model. Thanks!
Update: From several YT videos I've seen S&W has completely re-configured the trigger/triggerbar/sear/internals on the 2.0 model with a lighter trigger pull. As such it would appear that the spring kit in this model is not needed.
Have there been any reports of instalation of this kit that have resulted in 'misfeeds' . That is to say is there some common resassembly mistep that could result in persistent failure to chamber,?

Your SD9ve kit has no Sear spring like the Galloway or Apex kit. Can you add the galloway Sear spring with your kit? Galloway Lighter Sear Spring for Smith & Wesson SD and SD VE Pistols
Our Spring Kits are designed to effectively reduce the trigger pull weight and still maintain full functionality. We cannot speak for other aftermarket companies' products.
I’m having the same question…. After buying the kit last year now I’m seeing the additional spring for the Galloway and Apex. Still works but thinking how much better it could be that fourth spring.

Is this exclusive to the VE or will it work with my SD40?
according to S&W the parts between the two are interchangeable. That being said, we did not test nor design our parts for the base SD model, however only tested in the VE model. You can certainly give it a try.
