HOW TO INSTALL
S&W FPC Extended Charging Handle & Pic Rail Mount with Rapid Deployment Latch
Take your Smith & Wesson FPC to the next level with the SW FPC Upgrade Kit — combining a precision CNC-machined picatinny rail with rapid deployment locking mechanism for folded and unfolded rifle positons. Unmatched ergonomic SW FPC extended charging handle for superior performance, durability, and speed of operation.
The solid aluminum charging handle is engineered to allow for proper cheek to stock weld on rifle. Unlike the factory charging handle where facial contact is common while shooting. The M*CARBO SW FPC Changing Handle will allow for one-finger racking of the bolt with confidence—even during rapid deployment. No more awkward nose bumps or improper cheek to stock weld with this upgrade.
Our Alumimum Picatinny Rail for optic mounting is co-witness compatible with red dot optics and iron sights. It maintains zero after folding and fits perfectly in the factory carrying case—without increasing footprint. S&W FPC Upgrades for 9mm & 10mm!
Built from solid 6061 aerospace-grade aluminum and CNC machined for exact fitment, this kit is proudly made in the USA and protected by the M*CARBO 100% Lifetime Guarantee.
Extended Charging Handle is compatible with 9mm 23-Round Magazines.

great modification
This is a game changer for my 10mm FPC. The old system was really hard to unlock to fold open, this is very simple and a major improvement. I like the new charging handle, although I am having a little issue with how close it gets to the magazines when pulling it back all the way to put a round in. But its not a functional complication more personal preference. The rail mount is perfectly place and long enough to put an optic and a sling mount with room to spare
No more beard pinch
A bit pricey, but overall love the product easy to assemble and keeps the charging handle from ripping my beard out. Plus it allows me to use my green dot and magnifier now as well
Well Engineered
The M*CARBO FPC Max Performance Upgrade Kit installed cleanly with solid fitment and improved build quality over factory components.
The extended charging handle enhances ergonomics and provides more positive manipulation.
23-round magazine storage compatibility is reduced, but switching to 17-round magazines improved balance and resolved fitment constraints.
Initial function checks are good. Live-fire testing pending to validate performance under recoil and optic stability
9mm works on .40 Cal
After discussing this with the great people at M*CARBO, they sent me the 9mm version for my .40 cal FPC. The fit was PERFECT and it works flawlessly. Much safer too in my opinion.
Almost perfect
The optic rail is great, lines up perfectly with the rail on the barrel height wise. The replacement latch is MUCH slicker to use than the stock charging handle, when folding it locks in with no effort. Unfolding is just a button press instead of the stock method of working against the entire recoil spring by pulling the charging handle or creating lots of wear by forcing it open. The new charging handle is also quicker and easier to use with either hand. The only caveat is if you have 23 round magazines in the stock it works but only *just.* When slingshotting the charging handle to get past the bolt release you have to press the handle INTO the mags. I'm not sure what other design constraint they were working against that made them not do this but: It appears there's plenty of room to move the handle forward on the slider even 1/8th of an inch. Or angle the handle slightly if the root of it needs to be that far back. That way it wouldn't hit the mags and there would be more clearance when inserting/removing mags from the stock. Maybe for gen II.
I don't know
I got it for the 10mm. Seems silly that I need a small tool and 3 hands to rack a round. If I could go back I would have never bought this gun.
Game Changer
I purchased this to be able to install a Magnifier/DOT Combo (example: SIG Romeo/Juliet). Problem was that the rail did not give proper eye relief for using a Magnifier. Comes with everything needed. I absolutely love the Charging Handle. It is a Game Changer!
Needs a bit of refining
Great idea but needs some fine tuning on the charging handle as far as shape/location as it interferes with mnags stored in the stock. Also, the supplied hardware is poor quality and not even the same type of tool for install. They send you a decent Torx tool to remove the existing screws but the longer replacements for the optic mount are inverted hex, and the head is not machined very deep therefore you cannot get a good bite with the cheap little allen key provided and it is difficult to tell how tight you have it as it slips out very easily. The key is VERY soft and mine started to round off before the second screw was even tight. Why they didn't use the same type screw as original is beyond me. Time will tell if they loosen up or not
Will it work on a smith&wesson m&p 5.7x28 fpc?
Is there a 5.7x28 variant in the works?

Does the 9mm kit ship with the non-sighted rail?
I ordered 9 mm one and it had no sights on it. I don’t think they offer the sights anymore.

Can u buy the charging handle by itself
Without the optic mount and the charging handle only there would not be any sort of latch mechanism to keep the rifle folded as the original charge handle that was removed had the latch surface on it.

When will the 9mm kit w/o peep sight be back in stock?
If you have 23 round mags inserted in the stock, do they get in the way of the upgraded charging handle?
The motion feels too short but it's not! the rounds eject and feed just fine. i would suggest not babying the motion but rack the shit out of it.

You can still use the new charging handle, but they do make it difficult.
Hi, for the charging handle, will it charge the firearm with the 10mm 20 round magazines inserted into the butt stock? Thank you.
We are currently low on stock for the 10mm, they should be coming back in-stock within the next week or so. The charging handle will charge the firearm with the OEM 15rd magazines provided in the stock.

Hi, I have the FDE, do you have that color to match?
We only have the color black for now, but we may be able to add more color options in the future.

FPC-Max Performance Optic Mount & Charging Handle Upgrade Kit:
Can I just purchase the Charging Handle without the optic mount?
Understand that the folding catch is removed.
Even if you don’t need the Picatinny rail, it incorporates the latch when the gun is folded. Changing only the charging handle will sacrifice the latch functionality.
