Smith and Wesson M&P FPC Muzzle Brake
Warning! Avoid over-tightening to prevent snapping the barrel threads.
The M*CARBO Smith and Wesson M&P FPC Muzzle Brake not only maximizes recoil reduction and compensation but also extends the firearm by approximately 1" after accounting for the thread length. Suitable for competition or home defense use.
Installation requires a standard AR-15 armorers tool or a 3/4" wrench. To prevent scratches, consider adding 1 or 2 layers of masking tape to the brake.
This muzzle brake combines the advantages of both a muzzle brake and a compensator, allowing for more stable and controllable rapid fire, keeping you on target consistently.
For optimal performance, while Rocksett is not mandatory, it is recommended due to its 1,500-degree temperature rating and removable strength properties. M*CARBO excels in producing high-quality aftermarket parts, enhancing the Smith and Wesson FPC's performance.

Installation is a pain.
Muzzle device does not line up at all, the crush washer isn’t giving without extreme pressure. I’m not risking ruining my threads over this part. I need to go search down spacers now. Pretty pissed.
Actually works
Easy to install, and reduces recoil and muzzle rise by about 1/3.
Doesn’t affect POI. Great brake. Wish they made the same design for my AR.
Installation and test
I installed it the same as the video although the video was on a Ruger with aluminum and the M&P fpc was polymer. Used a paint mixing stick to prevent scratching. Went smoothly. Shot it and shared and the repeat accuracy, one I go my red dot sighted was amazing out to 135 yards. Didnt know a 9mm could reach out that far accurately. The muzzle brake/ compensator kept things level and you could shoot more rapidly accurately. Amazing and now it looks like a mini .50 cal (hehe). Great product and I would definately suggest using it on the S&W F&P fpc and other pistol carbines.

S&W M&P FPC Muzzle Brake
This Muzzle Brake is just perfect for my FPC It was easy to install and it really looks great, Please don't go by the you tube video on how to install it, because it does not have to be tightened 3 full turns. My Muzzle Brake only needed 3/4 of a turn with the crush washer and it was ready to go. I don't know why the installer in the video had to tighten the Muzzle Brake 3 full turns against the crush washer, but don't do it or you might end up with a crushed barrel and not know it which could be very dangerous when you go to shoot it. Thanks to M*Carbo for the great price, with free and fast shipping.
Great Product and Value
Customer Service at MCarbo is Legit! Received in 4 days from order and product was as good as described. Even gave me a QR Code to view installation video (if needed). Not really an off the shelf item at retailers so appreciated them having stock. Plus would rather support the little guys. Will use the muzzle brake on other 9mm Carbines for sure.
the muzzle break you show for the 9mm smith and wesson fpc is the same one i was sent for my 10mm fpc it screwed right on did i recieve the wronge one.
You didn’t receive the wrong part — the 9mm and 10mm Smith & Wesson FPC muzzle brakes are visually identical and use the same thread pattern, so it’s completely normal that it threaded right on.
Both versions share the same overall external design and finish, but the internal bore size is slightly different to match the correct caliber. If yours threaded on smoothly and the bore clearance is centered, then you’ve got the correct one for your 10mm FPC.
How do you time the muzzle brake it comes with a crush washer
Installation & Timing Instructions:
Orient the Crush Washer Correctly:
Place the narrow end of the crush washer toward the barrel threads, and the wider (flared) end facing the brake.
Thread the Muzzle Brake On:
Hand-tighten the muzzle brake onto the barrel over the crush washer until it contacts resistance.
Align the Muzzle Brake Ports:
Use your wrench to tighten the brake further 1/4 to 1/2 turn, crushing the washer and rotating the brake so that the compensator ports are timed correctly — typically with the largest ports facing up and slightly angled to control recoil and muzzle rise.
Don’t Over-Tighten:
You’re aiming for firmly hand-tight + timed — the crush washer gives you the ability to fine-tune the orientation without using shims or thread locker.
Aren't peel washers better?

Is it necessary to clamp the barrel when tightening the compensator, or is the barrel secure enough to simply wrench the compensator directly onto the barrel?
Can this be shipped to Ontario Canada
Can I use a locknut instead of a crush washer to install ?
I purchased 1/2"-28 Jam Nuts off Amazon and it worked fine. I was not confident in clamping barrel so did not use the crush washer, but the crush washer would probably look better.
