DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! This product doesn't work and causes the trigger to be extremely delayed. When talking to customer service to fix the issue, they just ghosted me. Don't waste your money or time with this company!
Delayed Trigger
I received my Springfield HELLCAT Flat Trigger MOD-2 Upgrade on 11/17/23 installed per instructions and video. Installation went well but when I attempted to dry fire the gun the trigger would not fire the gun. Called Mcarbo spoke with Mark he asked for video/pictures, I sent pictures after looking at my pictures Mark said that it would take two to three days to respond. 11/22/23 no response so I called Mcarbo again spoke with a gentleman who said he did the installs and could not explain what was happening I told him I wanted to return the product and move onto other trigger assemblies he said he would send me an email with RMA, no email, surprise-right. I disassembled the gun again and took a close look at the trigger assembly and noticed that the radius of the safety blade and the trigger shoe were not matched which caused the trigger assembly to mechanically obstruct a complete trigger stroke.
I should not have to tell the manufacturer why their product is non-functional and as you might expect I cannot recommend your company or it's products to anyone who may considering Mcarbo. Further, it's safe to conclude Mcarbo has lost my business
Installing trigger and stainless stricter sleeve.
Received parts in an exceptional time frame, approx three to four days. Installation was fairly easy consider4ing i have no experience in doing this. The process wen slow for me as i have zero experience doing this and i took my time to do it right bur the videos on the web site walked me right through it. The parts lessened the trigger pull and the creep of the trigger quite a lot. Haven’t been to the range yet but am going his week. Overall experience was excellent, parts were outstanding, and follow up is quite good considering i didn’t expect this. I gave them a 5.0 in all areas. Pleasure to do business with this company and going to continue to do more.
Warning for safety models, but good trigger.
Way better quality than the factory trigger, the take-up adjustment is nice(make sure you have the slide on before you assume the safety blade will catch the frame) .
If you have a Hellcat model with a safety, unless I did something wrong(I don’t believe I did) if you try to take out a lot of the trigger take up by adjusting the screw far enough in, it moves the trigger bar enough to where the part of the trigger bar that’s inside the seer housing is pushed back enough and blocks the safety from engaging. I had to loosen the screw quite a bit to get the safety to engage.
All that said and done, it’s still a good upgrade in my opinion, and if it were my gun I’d run it tighter disabling the safety anyways, but it’s not so it is what it is. Happy with the trigger.
Hellcat Osp Trigger
By just looking you can't tell this from the factory trigger but this one is made from metal. Very simple installation and works perfectly. This trigger kit reduced the take up by half or maybe 2/3rds. I couldn't ask for more especially at this price point. Well done MCarbo!
The link for the installation of trigger with safety doesnt work for me is the a video i can have sent to my email?? I've already ordered the trigger but haven't installed it yet because i dont know how
Will this work on a CA model?
Does the pre travel set screw need locktite? My trigger safety became really sticky after a couple of magazines. I had to disassemble and re-tighten it back down.
It is recommended to use loctite on pre/over travel screws to prevent them from walking out.

Yes, there are no major changes to the Hellcat platform.
Emails and packaging refer to trigger installation video----but it's no where to be found ?? Not good to leave your customers in the dark with a trigger install !!! How about some tips for the pre-travel screw. Cmon man.......

Does anyone have instructions on how to set the pretravel with the included fixture? I was able to get the screw put in place with the tiny hex key but can't figure out how to use the fixture to set pretravel. Thanks.

I could not get to the little screw with the trigger installed, so I took the locking block and trigger out and turned the screw a little and then put them back in and checked it. It took a couple iterations but I got the pretravel set to where I like it.

I'm sorry we still do not have an install video available yet! I believe Chris is waiting to do a full all-in-one install video, which hopefully will come quickly once we have our Strikers back in stock! You can definitely use our Spring Kit install video to assist with the tear-down and reassembly.

One kind of safety testing have you done on the Hellcat with your trigger spring kit and also with your trigger shoe? Have you done drop testing?
We conduct drop-testing in-house during our product testing before we release any new parts!
If you look up through the magwell, you can see where the firing pin safety engagement point is with the trigger bar. As long as you don't adjust all of the pretravel out (fully depressed firing pin safety) then it will remain drop safe. I gave mine a few hard whacks with a rubber mallet after adjusting 90% of the pretravel out just to be sure, and it remained safe.
