Works Perfectly for me
I have installed two of these and they have both functioned flawlessly. One of them has over 2,000 rounds on it. Reduces recoil and does not appreciably increase the force necessary to operate the slide. You would think it would be somehow the difference in recoil is noticeable but the the force to rack the slide is not.
Two identical failures, avoid at all costs
Similar to others, the end of this recoil spring can "jump" over the guide rod, rendering the design useless for disassembly. Luckily it still functioned and I could get the spring out but it takes some doing. First one I had failed in 50 rounds or so, second one failed within 250-500 rounds. Completely unacceptable and MCARBO would only send a replacement when I requested a refund.
Same issue others have reported
The larger coiled spring jumps over itself and is a pain to get it back to normal operating position. Can't trust it for CCW. Hope they read this and send me a replacement.
p365 heavy recoil spring
This new spring worked as advertised on a stock P365x. The recoil was noticably less (any improvement is welcome) and function was flawless. Never had one FTF and slide always stayed open on last round.
HOWEVER... As already noted by several reviewers, it does not function well with the new compensator/threaded barrel combo I purchased recently. I shot several makes of ball ammo, plus three different defence loads and they were all a no-go. Polishing the feed ramp helped the ball ammo function, but still choked on defensive loads. I do believe that going back to the orininal recoil spring will solve all issues.
great performance while it lasted
I ran this in 2 of my sigs. 1 with compensator and 1 without. Extra power was pretty noticable and was really enjoyable to run. However, like 2 others here, I had difficulty taking down and removing the guide rod as the coil jumped over itself and resting against the flange. After an email and reddit dm with no response...here we are
My mistake
Beautiful product and I’m sure it would improve the Sig’s recoil.
But I have the XL”no worries” l have a friend with the p365, he’ll love it !
Works well with standard P365, but not so well with a comp
I ran approx. 200 rounds with this on my P365 ( I have the ZEV Z365 Octane slide) and it worked well enough, although I cannot say I noticed a significant difference.
However, when I recently added the M*CARBO Threaded Barrel and Compensator I noticed the slide was no longer locking back on the last round. I changed to the standard recoil spring assembly and the slide had no problem locking open on last round.
Defective
Brought to the range and fired about 20 round before slide locked to the rear. The spring rolled over itself at the end causing it to jam. I pushed it back down but it just happened every time. Shame, as a veteran I was expecting a little more quality.
Will this fit in the P365 AXG Legion? Although this question is already in the thread, it was not answered.
Will this fit XMacro without compensator. Mine Xmacro is 3.1 barrel. Thanks
Will this fit in the P365 AXG Legion?
Will this fit in the P365 AXG Legion?
Will this work on the P365 California compliant model? The Sig site says the CA model's pistol size is "Micro-Compact".
Are there any plans to make this stainless steel recoil spring for the P365 in 380 acp?
So it does not fit the p365 x macro cause it's comp or because of the size of the gun? I have a p365 x macro but non comp version will it fit ?
I have the same question about the P365 xmacro TacOps model (no comp slide)
Any idea of this will work with the Mischief Machine Commander grip? Reason I ask is the current grip I have from them is destroying OE Sig RSAs (ONE IN AS FEW AS 35rds); they are going to change the lug and machine it as this is a recent problem coming up according to them, so I am just curious if you have any feedback on this before I test it out.
How much more does this stainless steel guide rod weigh than the original factory part?
Racking the p365 already takes some effort. About how much more effort is required with this “extra power “ recoil spring?
The stock P365 recoil springs are roughly 17 pounds, according to my online research. This would put the MCARBO recoil spring at approximately 21.25 pounds. I have it installed, and I'd say that's how it feels: 25% harder to pull back, but not difficult or annoying.

Your article for the Sig Sauer P365 Extra Power Recoil Spring Assembly - Stainless Steel Guide Rod stated that: "Stay ahead by following Sig Sauer's recommendation to replace the recoil spring guide assembly every 2,500 rounds for optimal performance."
How often do I need to change out your new Recoil Spring Assembly?

We've designed and tested our new Extra Power Recoil Spring Assembly to outlast the factory recoil spring assembly, with our stronger springs their lifetime cycle will be much longer than OEM and we offer a 100% lifetime guarantee on this product so if something does happen we will send you a replacement right away.
Will this work with a 365 length side and the Parker Mountain Machine Compensator?
Yes, this will work with a compensator, as long as its the regular sized P365 slide. Although comps tend to be picky with there ammo so find some good factory ammo that works best with your set-up and stick to it.
Will this become available for the P365 XMACRO - COMP in the near future?
We haven't started anything yet but it is on our radar for upcoming projects. So keep an eye out!
I have an sig macro I see a check mark but in text above says won’t fit or work. So will it work on an sig macro or not? Thanks, god bless

No, this will not work in the X-Macro. This is only for the regular sized P365's in 9mm and SAS models.
If it is determined to be able to fit the P365XL, how much does it increase the already stiff racking of the slide? I only have about 200 rounds through mine, and it's clean and well lubed, but the slide is too difficult for friends of mine to rack, which turned them off on the gun.
This will not fit in the P365 XL models. The XL guide rods are longer than the regular P365 and SAS models. There is a graphic in the "production Information" section of this webpage that gets cut off sometimes if you are using the mobile version.
Is this going to be available soon for the xl?

We haven't started this yet. But we are considering this option due to the number of customer requests.

Thank you
I'd recommend calling thier customer service, before they ship it out. Based on their description and the compatibility picture, it looks like this is the standard length guide rod and it will NOT work with your P365XL.
