Wonderful upgrade
I installed this flat trigger in my P365XL and it did require some hand fitting to make it go in properly and then adjust the setscrew for final trigger operation. I feel like the gun now has a better trigger pull , shorter takeup stroke and shorter reset for follow up shots that are quick and accurate. I also installed the MCarbo Titanium Striker assy to help improve overall gun performance now my P365XL is a SUPER SIG !
Sig P365 flat trigger
Let me say up front that I have purchased many items from M*Carbo, in particular, upgrades to my PC carbine and have found all of the products and installation videos to be top notch. I purchased the flat trigger from M*Carbo versus the Sig trigger based on that history and the fact that the trigger was not plastic. The installation video was pretty good although I did have some issues when it came to reinstalling the sear spring, which was my bad as I didn't realize it was an upgraded spring hence the different look. Also the sear itself appeared slightly different than mine but again not an M*Carbo issue. I was slow and methodical with the process and all went well until the very end. This is where I feel some clarification could have been used. After completing the installation I found that the slide would not go back on due to the safety lever raised slightly above the rail. I assumed that I had missed a step and proceeded to disassemble back to see what was wrong. After many attempts I did some Google searches and found out that I was not alone on this. Apparently some do and some don't have this issue. I chose to lightly file the back plate as others have done and it worked fine. I did contact customer support the following day and was advised to remove the back plate, reinstall slide and then work it back and forth to fit the parts. I'm not sure I could have done that as it stuck up a fair amount. This is not a criticism but more of a suggestion to include that information up front. As for the trigger, I did a range day and found it to be a nice upgrade.
Just what the doctor ordered
Performs like I was hoping it would. It's not as good as a 1911 trigger, but it's as close as it can get for a striker fired gun. Thanks, MCarbo!
Great Trigger! Resolves Stock Issues!
Installed the trigger and ran a couple hundred rounds thru the gun already and it performed flawlessly. Took care of most of the pre travel the stock trigger has while giving me that hard wall and crisp break. Also created more room for my finger as I have larger hands.
Best trigger I have installed in my P365
I have tried the OEM curved, OEM flat, a PSP hybrid, and finally this flat trigger in my P365's. It is my favorite due to the true flat shape and feel for equivalent pressure, pretty much anywhere you press it. Also, the adjustable reset is nice and limits over travel. I now have one of these in each of my P365's (3 so far) and my dad had me install one in this EDC P365.
Even a 72 year old can do it
I watched Chris' install video several times so I could familiarize myself with what I was going to be in for. The Sig's FCU is pretty amazing engineering and the video was perfect to follow along with as I installed the new trigger, springs, and a new extended slide catch lever. I had Sig's flat trigger installed, this one is far superior. Be sure to have the gun glue, (Synthetic Grease w/ PTFE) to keep parts in place. This experience has given me the nerve to take on my CZ 75 P-01 decocker model and do a trigger and spring kit to it. I polished the moving parts that were showing wear and the results are amazing. Great products from MCarbo. Have a new grip module being delivered today and can't wait to put them together. I've put every aftermarket part for the Sig P365 that Macarbo makes. Maybe they will make me the poster child-haha
Flat trigger
Excellent product. Install video was essential aid along with written instructions. Installed spring kit as well, only after I had successfully first attempt put trigger in. Recommend both upgrades and install at the same time. Experience best teacher. Changed for the better trigger action. Again it has my full recommendation.
Noticeable Difference
I only changed out the trigger itself and left all of the springs alone. Used the YT videos from MCARBO and almost disassembled more than I needed to because the video covers more than just the trigger replacement.
The trigger pull itself is much shorter now and breaks right at 90 degrees. I didn't mind the factory trigger but this upgrade removes a lot of the squish. So far I've only dry fired with it but I plan on a range trip this weekend.
Does this work with sig p365x?
Fits & Functions in Sig Sauer P365, Sig Sauer P365 380, Sig Sauer P365SAS, Sig Sauer P365XL and Sig Sauer P365 X-Macro
The P365x is the same as the XL, and all P365's are the same. All the parts work on them all the models. From the regular P365,X, XL, M-Macro
I have the p365x 9mm, it is not the xl or the macro. So your parts are not compatible for it ?

Curious on if this trigger will still make the P365 drop safe?
February 11, 2023 12:27 PM
Yes! During our testing and development, we perform drop safety tests according to SAAMI Standard Z299.5 rating (12" & 48").
Does the trigger pull weight increase over the stock sig flat trigger if I use the stock springs with this trigger?
February 11, 2023 7:32 AM
Felt like maybe slightly but it was almost exactly the same.
Only thing it affected on mine was the reset.
But I have no way to measure it. Just guessing.
I still have factory springs
I have Sig Custom Works FCU. Is this trigger compatible?
Yes, all FCU are the same, just different colors
Does installation of this trigger differ when using a FCXXXXXXX custom sig works FCU?
The installation is the same for all FCU
Will the short stroke trigger work in the new xmacro? The only reason I ask is due to a fitment issue I had with a different trigger that worked fine in my xl, but when I installed it in the macro there was clearence issues to the rear. Thanks for your time.
Kraig September 16, 2022 6:43 AM
I had the same issue with my new 365 X-Macro there was not enough clearance in the rear. I tried to even to Dremel the rear or trigger so it would pass and ended up giving up and put the stock trigger back in with trigger spring kit

We have tested it in the xMacro without issue.
Is there an instruction manual on how to install the trigger?
We have a fully detailed video on how to breakdown and install the trigger on our Product Information page.
Do you ship this item to Sweden?
You can find the dealer page in our international orders, but we can only ship to specific dealers
AF&K Sport Sweden AB - Stockholm, Sweden
Anyone able to confirm this trigger and sear spring group will work in the new version P365X with manual safety?
The FCU for the 365 models are the same, the only difference is slide length and grip size of the pistols. We also have had good feed back from our 365x customers.
Is there a date of these triggers being available? Or is is it best/quickest to order and will ship when ready?
We recommend placing your order and we will ship it out as soon as possible! We are currently non-stop running these triggers in our CNC machines and are sending them out in batches to our Vendor for the surface finishing process. All backorders are being filled oldest to newest, so placing your order will keep your spot in line :) We are working as hard as we can to try to catch back up!!
If I order one on 4-13-2022 when would it ship with the back order?
we are sending out batches of machined triggers to our Second Process vendor for surface finishing on a consistent basis and will fill all backorders in the order of when they were placed! The average lead time between batches is around 3-4 weeks, depending on our vendor's lead times and shipping.
How's the trigger reach on this versus the standard curved trigger? I tried the factory flat trigger and went back to the curved because it was easier for me to reach.
The resting position of our Flat Trigger sits further back than both of the OEM triggers, with the "short-stroke" shortened pre-travel instilled in its design. This will allow you more space for your finger between the trigger and the guard and will be a much more comfortable reach. Chris does cover this in our recently uploaded video as well!
Will this retrofit into the SAS and if so, are the benefits the same?
Whaduu January 4, 2022 8:37 AM
Yes and YES! :) Our trigger has been tested and verified as compatible with the SAS models.
So if I understand, the p365 & the p250 have the same fire control module. So would this kit work in it also or am I misinformed.
December 26, 2021 6:36 AM
We have not tested our P365 Trigger in the P250 and cannot confirm it's proper fit or function in that model.

Would this work on the Sig 365 XL?
I installed it on the new P365 .380 and it works perfectly

Yes this trigger will fit and work in all Sig P365 models!
Yes this trigger will fit and work in all Sig P365 models!
Does this trigger reduce the pre travel of the P365 and by how much? And if it does, does the striker safety lever interfere with assembly/disassembly?
I apologize yes the set screw is to adjust over-travel. The trigger will sit at a better starting angle (right at 80 degrees) compared to Sig's MIM flat trigger (which is about 68-69 degrees), and due to this improved starting angle of the trigger face, being a short-stroke trigger, no pre-travel adjustment is available.
I thought and it appears that the set screw is used to adjust over travel since it is on the back of the trigger. Is that correct? Is there something in the design that reduces the pre travel/ takeup?

Yes, the set screw included is adjustable once the trigger is installed, so you can find your ideal comfort setting before adding any threadlocker locktite. The striker safety lever will not interfere.
Do these new P365 triggers take up or shorten the PRE-TRAVEL?
Mcarbo trigger breaks at 5 o'clock positon instead of 6 o'clock position.
I have already installed your Sig 365 spring kit ( and 6 of your spring kits in other guns) Nd am very pleased with all of them.
Your install videos are great. I just ordered your Sig 365 flat trigger. Do you have an install video for the trigger?
There is no video available yet, but we should have one uploaded to our YouTube Channel soon.
At what angle does the trigger break? Is it still near 90 degrees to barrel?
