KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Recoil Buffer
- Custom Molded Urethane Rubber Recoil Buffer
Reduces recoil force of bolt and overall felt recoil by roughly 30%. Proprietary Urethane Rubber Blend offers
exceptional strength, durability and abrasion resistance for this specific application. Custom Molded to the exact
dimensions to fit over the SUB-2000 recoil spring, inside the bolt tube, immediately in front of the hard plastic
buffer (the bolt tube end plug that's part of the buttstock design).
The SUB-2000 Recoil Buffer provides the necessary barrier to prevent the hard slap of the heavy bolt bottoming out
at the end of travel. The cylindrical rubber recoil buffer acts like a shock absorber between the heavy blowback
operation of the extended bolt and the hard plastic buffer of your SUB-2000, providing the necessary cushion and
energy displacement needed to reduce the momentum and felt impact of the extended bolt onto the hard plastic buffer
and ultimately your shoulder.
The KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Recoil Buffer will not affect your ability to lock the charging handle back into the notch on
the bolt tube to keep your bolt open to the rear of the firearm. Designed to reduce recoil without compromising
the normal function and operation of your SUB-2000! Tested by a dozen M*CARBO Brotherhood Members to ensure durability
and quality results. All reported a significant reduction in felt recoil from their SUB-2000!
It's a simple 5 minute installation! Just remove the buttstock and slide the recoil buffer over the recoil spring.
It's the KEL TEC SUB 2000 Recoil Pad for your hard plastic factory buffer.
Q: Will the Recoil Buffer work for the Gen 1?
A: No, the SUB-2000 Recoil Buffer will work for the Gen 2 only.
Q: Will you still be able to lock the bolt back with the Recoil Buffer installed?
A: Yes, the Recoil Buffer will not affect your ability to lock bolt open to the rear. It's designed to
reduce recoil without compromising the normal function of your SUB-2000.

Didn't work for me but read to see why.
I wanted to try this to see if it made any difference. Let me say that I am 83 YO. I installed it and discovered that it made the spring just enough stronger that I could not charge the gun. I then took it out and am now able to charge it , I would say if you think it might help by all means get one and try it. Good luck
Nice
You take or leave its 9mm how much recoil do you have. But it does work.
Good idea
I cant speak for the ring alone, but I can say between THIS ring, the heavier bolt available on the Keltec site,a muzzle compensator, the lowers upgrade kit and a nice rubber recoil buttpad I found on Amazon...the gun is a totally different experience to fire. This does reduce that plastic slap noise from the bolt flying back against the plastic end cap. Definately worth buying and trying.
Recoil buffer does what it says.
I installed the buffer and it is amazing. Simple installation and it really makes a difference where there was jus hard plastic. Would definitely buy if on the fence.
Just buy it
It helps trim felt recoil. It's cheap. Just go for it.

Gen 2. Does the bolt still lock back once buffer installed?
Yes, the firearm will function as intended with the buffer installed.
Hi. Which generation should I purchase for the Sub CQB model that I just purchased? Thank you in advance
Gen 2, All the CQB models should be based off the Gen 2 design.
Hi. Can more than one recoil buffer be installed in the same Keltec Sub-2000? ie.) Is installing two better than installing one?
We only recommend one, more is not always better
