WHAT'S INCLUDED:
- 1 - Custom Molded Urethane Rubber Recoil Buffer
KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Recoil Buffer
Experience a significant reduction in recoil force with the KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Recoil Buffer, decreasing overall felt recoil by approximately 30%. Made from a proprietary urethane rubber blend, this recoil buffer is designed for strength, durability, and abrasion resistance, tailored specifically for the Gen 2 SUB-2000.
Skillfully molded to precise dimensions, the recoil buffer fits snugly over the SUB-2000 recoil spring. Its placement, within the bolt tube and directly in front of the hard plastic buffer (a component of the buttstock design), offers an added layer of protection against the impact of the heavy bolt.
By acting as a shock absorber, the recoil buffer provides a barrier against the heavy bolt's impact at the end of its travel, offering much-needed cushioning. This energy displacement significantly lessens the force with which the bolt hits the plastic buffer, ensuring a more comfortable shooting experience.
Rest assured, the KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Recoil Buffer does not interfere with the ability to lock the charging handle back. It has been meticulously designed to offer recoil reduction without compromising the firearm's regular functionality. Our testing, conducted by a group of M*CARBO Brotherhood Members, confirmed the recoil buffer's durability and effectiveness, with all testers reporting a marked decrease in their SUB-2000's felt recoil.
Installation is straightforward and quick – in just about 5 minutes, you can slide the recoil buffer over the recoil spring after removing the buttstock. Think of it as the ideal recoil pad for your factory buffer.

Not Needed on Gen 3
I found out the hard way when I went to install it. One of the improvements KT made was to copy Mcarbos idea and include this part.
Maybe I should have know but all the videos I watched concentrated on the rotating stock. Later I found one from KT at the Shot Show that showed all the upgrades.
Hard to rate how many stars but I will give it 5 as I am still an Mcarbo fan.
Stay safe brothers and sisters,
Pood
Excellent Addition to the Weapon
On most of my blow back weapons I have added a recoil buffer to limit any potential damage to the weapon from use. I like having something in front of the hard plastic buffer to reduce the impact on parts. I can't tell you if it does reduce the felt recoil by 30% alone as I added a few upgrades all at the same time.
What it does is give me peace of mind on safety and reliability of my SUB 2K 9mm.
Buffer Washer
Less rattling of the Buffer spring

Note: Basically I rebuilt my Kel Tec sub 2000, Gen 2
Works perfectly
Used this with the bolt tube cover. Money we’ll spent. Tames the recoil down against my face.
Works well
I was pleasantly surprised how much this helped. I'm very satisfied with this for the price, definitely worth it!
It's fine
I honestly didn't fire the gun before doing a full MCarbo makeover, but the recoil isn't so bad with it installed if that means anything to anyone. It's like a softer AR-15.
I was extremely impressed with the purchase process, follow up, and product. First, purchasing was easy. Good product detail available, reviews, videos/pics all made the decision easy. Second, these guys communicated every step of the way from order submittal, to shipped, to arrived (they tracked it and sent a notice when it was flagged as delivered), they even send you links to the how to videos. Lastly, the item itself is of great quality. Not some cheaply made item you get from wish.com or amazon, it really is made well. I also purchased the skeletonized charging handle, and bolt tube cover. 10/10 would recommend the products from M*CARBO, I will be purchasing the red dot sight mount in the near future.
Why doesn't this work on a gen 1 ?
I bought this and used it. Now it seems a bit compressed from new. Does this impact it?

This buffer helps with recoil but I don't know if this will be the solution, by the sound of it the month can be backward

Gen 2. Does the bolt still lock back once buffer installed?
Yes, the firearm will function as intended with the buffer installed.
Hi. Which generation should I purchase for the Sub CQB model that I just purchased? Thank you in advance
Gen 2, All the CQB models should be based off the Gen 2 design.
Hi. Can more than one recoil buffer be installed in the same Keltec Sub-2000? ie.) Is installing two better than installing one?
We only recommend one, more is not always better
Does this part come in the All In One Pro Performance Trigger Job Bundle?
Hello, other than the tool-less locking pin that comes with the aftermarket charging handles, this is the only other internal part NOT included in the All In One Pro Performance Trigger Job Bundle.
