Have only fired once since installing but fired without jamming or marring the rod or slide. Huge upgrade to the factory plastic guide rod.

Setting to long
P 11 has not seen sunlight since 97 went to charged the weapon didn’t feel right ordered the new stainless steel rod and Springs put them in runs like glass now also helped with magazine retention I guess a cleanup job on it help too
Being 65 years old and some arthritis in my hands, will racking the slide be an issue with this product?
No, changing out the guide rod to our Stainless Steel upgrade will not increase the slide racking difficulty in any way. Our Upgraded Recoil Spring is a little stronger than the OEM spring, but will not increase slide racking difficulty by a significant amount.
