While it adds approximately 1" to the overall length of the firearm (after subtracting the length of threads), its benefits in stability and control make it an excellent choice for competition or home defense use.
Installation requires either a standard AR-15 Armorer’s Tool or a 3/4" wrench. To protect the brake from scratches during installation, consider adding one or two layers of masking tape.

This muzzle brake is one of the best Grand Power Stribog upgrades designed to keep the platform shooting as flat as possible. It comes with a crush washer and can be easily installed in about 15 minutes, provided you have a vise to secure the barrel during installation. While Rocksett is not required, it is the recommended thread locker for muzzle brake applications due to its 1,500-degree temperature rating and removable strength properties. Rocksett is sold separately.

Stribog compensator muzzle brake
Installation is not complicated, and it works very well. On rapid fire multi burst it helps keep you on target with little if any barrel rise. Recommend this to anyone thinking about a helpful addition to their Stribog pistol.

Easy installation (make sure you have a bench vice!)
Though I did not have a good bench vice, and my wrenches did not come with a 3/4" (yes, I'm a cheap dude), I was able to lock the Stribog into my WorkMate enough that with a little extra leaning on it, and a crescent wrench, I got the crush-ring/washer to collapse and align the muzzle brake easily.
First trial, I immediately noticed how much better it returned to target (as if it never left at all) so I was able to burn through rounds faster and completely ate out the x-ring. No slippage, no further adjustments, and no Loctite needed.
