Not alot of aesthtic difference or anything special that I can tell. From what I understand if you have the optics mount or are planning on getting one and installing,you may or may not need these???
got to have spares on hand. Nice to have in case I lose one.

I've not actually used these. I just got them while buying the mount which in retrospect was silly I guess. I just like having some stashed on hand in case I lose one or strip one out. The best time to get these little parts is while you can find them. I figure to have the gun a long time. (until my next of kin gets it).
