Needs fitting for CZ P-01
The head of the guide rod does not fit into the receiver from the manufacturer. I had to polish it with some high grit sand paper for a few minutes in order to get it to fit. Besides this QA/QC mishap, the guide rod does what it's designed to do.

CZ 75 Compact Stainless Steel Guide Rod
Guide Rod did not fit the CZ75 P01. Had to modify rod head for proper fitting. Diameter was too large to fit in gun frame.

This may cause damage
This is a great guide rod for the compact with a steel frame but I wouldn't recommend this for the PCR or any aluminum frame CZ's. The guide rod naturally tilts just a little when the slide is back which is normal but it causes the steel guide rods to round off the frame where it makes contact inside. I noticed this happening in my PCR with this guide rod after about 500 rounds. There are various other forms warning about this.
CZ 75 compact spring guide rod
Quality upgraded guide rod in place of the CZ factory plastic. Gives much better overall look and will eliminate any weak points. Installation is very easy and would recommend the upgrade to everyone considering the purchase.
Will this work with the factory P-01 spring? Or do I have to get a different recoil spring?
