Mcarbo quality right here. Just blew 200 rds with the new spring, comparing to the OEM. Not a super dramatic difference (this isn’t a compensator) but there is a noticeable ’perceived’ smoothness in overall recoil coming from the standard 3.1 barrel using 124 gr TMJs. Certainly tames that snap a few marks. It’s obviously heavier and a beefier spring so cocking that slide back to lock or chamber will take intentional effort, it’s manageable and not difficult, a petite female can still rack it, just a tad tighter over the OEM but that should be expected. Mag dumping and rapid fire is much more fun now that I can keep all hits on the paper target from 20 yards. With enough training you’ll definitely get improved follow up grouping, even if shooting with iron sights.
