Brought to the range and fired about 20 round before slide locked to the rear. The spring rolled over itself at the end causing it to jam. I pushed it back down but it just happened every time. Shame, as a veteran I was expecting a little more quality.

Excellent upgrade, perfect performance

My P365 SAS is my EDC, and it was also approaching time for a maintenance recoil spring replacement, so this was the perfect opportunity to add another Mcarbo enhancement.

Besides, when you already have every other MC upgrade (and I do mean every single one!), seems like a no-brainer to add this assembly.

I was a bit concerned about how it'd affect reliability, but in typical MC fashion, there wasn't the slightest hiccup. Function was flawless with my JHP carry load (V-Crown 124gr @ 1200fps), with 124gr NATO FMJ (same spec as the JHP load), and even with lighter-loaded 124gr FMJ @ 1060fps.

Bravo MC on another well-executed P365 upgrade.

GENIUS!!!

People throw the word genius around willy nilly. I am not one of them people. I say, this is genius. It is not only better and smarter in concept but also in material. Sig Sauer would be wise to ask for help from this company. Thank you MCARBO for having the creative talent and initiative to make such genius improvements. The engineer of this particular item seems to me to have genius and passion for his work. I thank all of you. Cheers and Aloha to you.

Installed the new recoil spring. Immediately felt different (in a good away). Just got back from the range. Operated flawlessly.

Great addition to my P365

This spring is much stronger that the factory spring. It will significantly reduce the felt recoil helping you to require the target quickly. I highly recommend this product.

I ran this in 2 of my sigs. 1 with compensator and 1 without. Extra power was pretty noticable and was really enjoyable to run. However, like 2 others here, I had difficulty taking down and removing the guide rod as the coil jumped over itself and resting against the flange. After an email and reddit dm with no response...here we are

Made it impossible to take down

Seemed to function fine at the range. When I got home, I was unable to take the slide off the pistol. I ended up taking the firearm back to my FFLs gunsmith, who also was unable to remove the slide (and they charged me $90 for the privilege).

They then sent it on to Sig who finally were able to remove the slide. Per SIG SAUER:

Note 1: recoil spring jumped over the guide. someone beat this thing up trying to get it apart.

Note 2: Firearm Inspection: Performed.

Work performed: Replaced recoil spring assembly, takedown lever, takedown safety, and grip module.

Tested: Firearm passed function test and fired without malfunction.

Ammo fired: Sig 124gr FMJ

Mcarbo refunded my purchase, but I'm still on the hook for $90

Makes a great firearm even better.

MCarbo Recoil spring on the range

My shooting group of three all brought our Sig P365 pistols to the range. Mine is a 365X. We all shot a Magazine with the factory spring and another round with the new MCarbo spring. The pistol functioned flawlessly with less recoil and muzzle flip just as described. We also tester the spring in the other pistols as well and of course same results. This in not my first MCarbo product and from springs to extractors and I’m happy with all. Say what It does and does what it says can’t beet that.

My mistake

This new spring worked as advertised on a stock P365x. The recoil was noticably less (any improvement is welcome) and function was flawless. Never had one FTF and slide always stayed open on last round.

HOWEVER... As already noted by several reviewers, it does not function well with the new compensator/threaded barrel combo I purchased recently. I shot several makes of ball ammo, plus three different defence loads and they were all a no-go. Polishing the feed ramp helped the ball ammo function, but still choked on defensive loads. I do believe that going back to the orininal recoil spring will solve all issues.

Quality As Always

This is the third product I have purchased from M Carbo, and all I can say is each time it exceeded my expectations.

All other competitors are not only higher priced, but for less quality. This particular product literally made a noticable difference just as it was advertised.

Also guys, forget Cajun Gun Works for CZ items, M Cardo spring kits are second to none at a fraction of the cost.

Do yourselves a favor, pick up this P365 guide rod, worth every penny.

The larger coiled spring jumps over itself and is a pain to get it back to normal operating position. Can't trust it for CCW. Hope they read this and send me a replacement.

This product is as described. It is simple drop in replacement and takes no time at all. It is a great upgrade if you prefer the stainless steel versus the stock black spring. I had zero issues with the gun performing with this spring. I did not notice any real difference with the “Muzzle Flip” with this spring but that could just be me. It is sturdy and should hold up very well. I think it was a good addition to my P365, hopefully you will too.
