Much needed upgrade!
I've been done with the upgrades on my gen 2 for awhile now and have already done some on my gen 3. Today my trigger guard and trigger for my gen 3 arrived and got them installed. What a great upgrade over stock, the plastic trigger guard had to be slammed hard to lock back in place, now with the upgraded one it just snaps into place, love that! With all these new parts in both they are so much better and a lot of fun at the range, I'm sure I'll have many years of fun with these two, thanks MCARBO for all the time and effort you and your crew have put into a bullet proof product!!
Not an easy install, but worth it
Installing this is like building a house of cards. Might I suggest ordering, or possibly including, a set of safety C-clips. One could also cover their work as they work because these clips will take off faster than a carrier launched F18. I did eventually find the clip by some odd miracle the lord willed me to find it and I was quickly back in business. I had already ordered a replacement set, and could cancel...... but..... I am sure MCarbo will come up with more upgrades for the Gen3. I do wish it had a shorter reset. Wink wink. Back to the subject... the solid takedown lever is a very well needed upgrade that prevents me from thinking im gonna brake it every time. The trigger is also a well needed upgrade you didn't know you needed. 100% improvement. With that much slop in the composite trigger, how did it not break?
