A: Yes, the 795 kit will also work on the Marlin 7000.

Q: Why did I receive 5 springs in my kit when there are only 4 in the picture online?

Thank you very much,

The kit arrived in perfect shape....and I did the installation, the video is perfect!!! Everything works fine with the snap-caps and I am looking forward to go to the range to test it there. The change is impressive: from a heavy useless stock trigger to a lighter and predictable one.

The product and the service 10/10.

Marlin trigger spring group and target trigger for Marlin model 60

I ordered these items after contacting customer service about my gun. (It is older thsn dirt...). I was assured that the spring group and trigger would fit my gun, and the parts did fit. I also received a link to installation instructions, which is where I ran into a bit of difficulty. The instructions are for a MUCH newer gun than the gun I own.

I worked through the differences, and was able to install the components in about an hour, which included some pretty significant time cleaning the existing parts.

The existing trigger pulled a little over 6 pounds; sorry folks, I don't own a digital trigger scale. After installing the new parts, the trigger pulled at slightly over 3 pounds. (See previous sentence regarding lack of a digital measure of trigger pull weight...). This was close to a 50% improvement in my trigger.

So, I cased the gun and headed to the range. I shot 5 groups of 3 rounds each, and had 4 of the five groups making one hole at 25 yards. The first group was the worst (about 5/8"), and was followed by a scope-focusing moment, which brought the rounds into one hole groups.

Bottom line-I could not be happier with the performance of my rifle. The ONLY reason, admittedly a very picky reason, the review is not 5 stars, is the dated nature of the install info provided. If a couple of generations of rifles were referenced, I think it would be very helpful. (I am pretty sure the folks at the company did not believe anyone owned a rifle as old as mine, but I tend to hang onto my guns!)

The time from ordering to receiving my order was absolutely outstanding, as was the time it took to get a response to my questions. Great product, excellent service, and slightly dated instal info. All things considered, I would order from this company again without hesitation!

Some of the best customer service I've dealt with.

arrived in a very timely fashion, considering I'm in Canada, product was as expected with access to installation instructions on site which is a very nice touch. But above all else, the customer service with this company is far more than expected and mostly any other site I've dealt with. I will certainly be taking my business here again.

Put this in my Marlin 795, kinda wish I knew about the mcarbo trigger but that's okay, I really like the upgraded trigger guard on the diproducts. The diproducts made it nice and crisp (installed before I even shot the gun). Took it out and really loved it but still heavy. Got the mcarbo springs in and it's amazing now!

Be warned, for this gun at least, this is not a beginner install. You are taking nearly every component apart that moves within the rifle, and it can be a little confusing getting it back together. I'd say equivalent or more complex than a ruger mark III trigger install.

The only thing I wish could be improved is the YouTube video for the unreal. It goes really fast and I had to pause it frequently. A lot more detail, and spreading it out over 20-25 minutes would make this install a breeze. I had to reference the exploded diagram of the gun when figuring out the orientation of the hammer spring flat part (the one that the paperclip holds in).

Beyond that, the kit itself is absolutely amazing. Trigger is noticeably lighter, probably 4.1 pounds like everyone else says. Turned a good value rifle into a true 22 sniper. I picked off a quail at 115 yards the other day with a 10 mph crosswind. Couldn't have done that with the old trigger/trigger weight.
