- Custom Trigger Return Spring
The Marlin 795 / Marlin 70 / Marlin 995 Trigger Spring Kit will reduce your trigger pull from a factory weight of 6.75lbs to a modified weight of 4.5lbs. This Trigger Spring Kit is made of the highest quality spring steel available, right here in the USA!
The Marlin 795 Trigger Spring Kit will improve your accuracy and tighten your shot groups. Reduced malfunctions should be expected because the M*CARBO springs are constructed of the highest quality spring steel ASTM A228 music wire & 302 stainless spring steel.
**M*CARBO always includes an extra disconnector spring in this spring kit because the disconnector spring requires bending during the installation process; and just in case you don't bend it properly, M*CARBO has you covered with a spare disconnector spring.**
Q: Will this kit also work on my Marlin Model 717M2?
A: Yes it will also reduce the trigger pull on the Marlin Model 717M2.
Q: Will the Marlin 795 kit work in my Marlin Papoose?
A: Yes, it will work in your Marlin 70PSS Papoose
Q: Why did I receive 5 springs in my kit when there are only 4 in the picture online?
A: You will notice that our picture shows 4 springs in the kit but when you receive the kit it will include 5. We send an extra disconnector spring with each Marlin kit because this is the spring that requires bending during the installation process. Just in case you bend it incorrectly, no need to worry, you can try it again with the spare that we included.
Q: What other rifles will this kit work for besides the Marlin 795?
A: This kit will also work for the Marlin 70, Marlin 995, Marlin 989 M2 and Marlin 7000 because Marlin used the same trigger assembly is all three rifles.
Q: Should I be concerned with any malfunctions or light strikes after installing this kit?
A: No, all of our MCARBO Trigger Spring Kits have been professionally engineered, designed and manufactured to reduce trigger pull while maintaining 100% reliability of the firearm. You will not experience any sort of light strike or malfunction but you will experience a crisp smooth lighter trigger pull. Guaranteed or your Money Back!

The weak spot on the Marlin 795/Papoose is the disconnector spring. I've had to mend one in the field and it's tricky to do. So having a spare makes a lot of sense. Look for MCARBO videos which will make this a lot easier job.
took my marlin 795 trigger from 5 plus lbs. to an acceptable 3.5 lbs.
795 trigger kit
Installed all spring except the trigger spring. Waiting for the DI products gaurd and shoe. Took the pull down to 4lbs so far.
Absolutely satisfied so far!!
2nd 795 trigger kit I’ve bought
Was having some trouble with the reliability of my 795 trigger after I put about 5000 rounds through it. While I don’t believe the issue was entirely the old Mcarbo kit I bought years ago I figured I’d just do an entire action revamp so I bought another kit. Installation was a breeze as I’ve already done it before and am quite familiar with the action. Was disappointed to have to cut the seat spring as it was way too long (probably for a 60). It doesn’t seem to be any better than the one I bought from Mcarbo years ago but it is definitely better than I remember the old stock trigger to be.

Wow! It really works.
Installed these springs along with the DIP trigger guard and trigger. Average trigger pull dropped from 5.6# to a very crisp 3.4# with almost no take-up. Very pleased.
Lightens the trigger pull, but need to work in a clean room to not lose parts.
Bought this kit because I was overzealously cleaning my gun and took a brush to the action, knocking the disconnector spring out of place. Learned I gotta take the whole damn action apart to get to it, so may as well add the spring kit, it's cheap enough. #1 working in this action is like repairing watches, so many little parts. I lost one of those E clip retainers in the process. 6 pack of them is $3, if I knew it was a risk I would have added them to my cart when I bought the spring kit.
The kit noticably reduced the trigger pull, but in exchange I really notice the trigger slop. Idk if the kit adds slop, I no longer remember the factory trigger pull. Also I am noticing the trigger assembly making a little noise. Don't remember if that's new or not.
Huge Improvement Over Stock!
Fairly easy to install after watching the install video. Vast improvement over the stock springs! Zero malfunctions.
My Marlin is back
This kit rejuvinated my 795 so it is again a reliable nail driver. The installation video was very helpful in replacing the different parts and the end result was a lighter trigger and more reliable performance. I saved a lot of money doing it myself and it felt good to have my Marlin back. I highly recommend this kit for 795 users.
