I have installed this spring on two x-bolts
In less than an hour. The spring is
Perfect fit. YouTube instructions were great, both old and updated versions. Spring provided a matched 1.8 lbs trigger pull on both rifles.

Good reduction from 4# 3oz to 2# 6oz. Not very complicated to do but watch updated video. Another suggestion is before you unpin trigger assembly to tape the bolt safety release acctuation pin to the trigger body so that it stays in proper position. Makes reassembly much easier. Then after reassembly remove the small peice of tape.

Works just perfect!
The original spring is pretty stout and I was able to yank it right through the adjustment bolt hole.
Easy drop-in install of new spring and 2.5lbs pull by default.

It was a little tricky to get the factory spring out but the mcarbo spring is simple to install and well worth the few bucks. Consistent 2 lb pulls now.
Great product at a bargain versus aftermarket trigger. Also, you keep your bolt safety feature.

I was a bit skeptical about the spring but after watching some youtube videos, spending 15 dollar for a spring is worth giving it a shot. I have a browning hells Canyon so i didnt want to loose the safety feature with upgrading it to the Timney trigger. I figure if it dont work out, I will upgrade it. The stock pull is too high at 4.x lbs and I tried adjusting it but it still didnt change much. The installation process was a bit hard to get the old spring out, i had to yank it out destroying my old spring. The installation of the new spring was easy. Tested 1.5lbs pull on the new spring. adjust it up to 2lbs which is where I wanted it. Well worth it.

Few things in this life deliver what they promise. Even fewer do it for under $15. The MCarbo spring for XBolts delivered.

Received the spring. Chuckled that it looked like a bic pen spring. Followed the great video for an easy install, tightened the set screw down fully hoping to get something just under 3 lbs. Tested it with a trigger pull device. Right at 2lb 14 ounces (at heaviest setting with new spring). I'm not chuckling anymore. Y'all did us a solid by making this one.

Hi guys. I have a browning X-BOLT SF HUNTER II MONTE CARLO THREADED, purchased recently in Europe and manufactured in 2022. It has a silver trigger, compared to the previous versions, which featured a golden one. The gunsmith adjusted my trigger and it went down to approximately ~2,5 lbs but I still would like to make it a bit lighter. Will the spring kit work with this model?
