I bought the Security-9 to use as a training aid in my new shooter classes about 3 1/2 years ago. I ended up liking it a lot so it became my carry gun as well. It's lite, double stack mag, accurate, easy to operate, and a 4" sight radius. Adding the trigger kit and polishing made a great improvement to an already nice small pistol.

My Security - 9 eats everything I feed it and it is an absolute pleasure at the range. I highly recommend this kit and, don't skip on polishing the mating surfaces of the hammer and sear. Installed this on my wife's gun. Went to the range and put a quick 75 flawless rounds through it . Great upgrade, love the trigger feel. Easy upgrade but make sure you pay attention and flip the trigger return spring leg counterclockwise.

I have been waiting for this! Perfectly matched springs and a firing pin installation fixture, all in one set. The installation was straightforward, and everything is a perfect fit. And the difference it makes in the trigger is amazing. I have tried a few different brands of ammo and had no light strikes; perfect flawless function.
So from what I have noticed in the Q&A, this is only for the full size security 9 and not the compact one?!!
Will this trigger kit work in the Ruger Security 380 Lite Rack?
I'm having light strikes and frequent FTF with fiocchi ammo on my sec9. Noticeable primer strike difference between sec9 and Springfield Hellcat. Planning on lightening firing pin spring, and leaving original hammer spring. Am I heading the right way?

Yes, this will work in the Security 9 Pro, as long as it is not the compact version.
I see that you put that this kit is for the full size security 9, but seeing that the security 380 is the same size, will this possibly work with the security 380?
