Straight short stroke trigger
Trigger is way better than curved stock one and less travel worth the work to do the install also did spring kit and polishing kit just follow video and pause a lot came out good
Right within range
I bought just the trigger shoe without the springs. I wanted to maintain the same pull weight, but tighten up the action. Have to say that I am impressed. Trigger is very comfortable, breaks at 90, with good feel. Great improvement.
Good...Just got BETTER
The trigger and spring kit drastically improved the MAX 9. If you have a MAX 9...YOU NEED THE UPGRADES.
Must Have Upgrade!!
Easy installation, fit and finish are flawless. Don't hesitate to upgrade your pistol, this takes all the slop and trigger bite out of the factory firearm.
JUST DO IT
Don’t think about it, just get this kit and drop it in. Takes very little time to install, great video walk through from this site is all you need. Removes ALL of that dead space the factory trigger has. Best money spent on that pistol.
Overall an improvement but not what I wanted
Overall, this along with the spring kit, has improved the trigger pull weight and reduced take-up and length of pull.
Still got a bit of slop in the side to side of the trigger but it’s better than the stick one.
Not a fan of the set screw for the take-up adjustment and with the loctite (as instructed) in place I hope it is never an issue.
For the price - I’m satisfied but would love to see slightly better improvements in the trigger slop side to side. This may be a Ruger issue however, so don’t fry me for those complaints.
Quick shipping and good email updates.
Do Not Buy
Do not buy this ruger max 9 trigger! This trigger constantly jams because of the safety feature getting caught on the frame, you will not be able to rapid fire more than 2 shots if you are lucky finger must be placed perfectly on the safety release or else will not shoot and jam. i had multiple people try and shoot my pistol with the same results just in case user error but mind you i am not a beginner and am a proficient shooter. I would not recommend this trigger especially for a concealed carry because if my life were in danger and i needed to rapid fire i would be dead. looks nice but function 0 out of 10
Most excellent
I've used the stock Ruger trigger and another after market trigger on my Max9. They were both anoying to my finger and resulted in poor groups. This M-carbo trigger is very comfortable for my finger and has resulted in far smaller groups and a happier finger. To be honest, I also had the spring kit installed as well as some parts pollished be M-carbo. All of which contributed to a vastlt improved pistol for me.
How does the adjustment screw work on the trigger when I turn it doesn’t seem to do anything should I just take it out what will happen

The trigger will work without the set screw. The screw is for adjusting the Pre-Travel of the trigger.

If I remove the magazine disconnect out of a California compliant MAX-9, will this trigger work with it?
Will this fit the California compliant model
Took the risk and tried it in my CA compliant model. As long as you remove the mag disconnect when you're installing it (which I don't know why anyone wouldn't anyway), it works fine.

I've got a LPC max that the state of California has blessed and yes it will work, however the mag disconnect will not work with this trigger. After installing it I pressed the trigger without a mag in and it went click. I don't know if leaving the disconnect in would wear something wrong or jam the trigger so I took the mag disconnect out. No big deal, I didn't really want it in there anyway. I ran 130 rounds through it yesterday along with Mcarbo's extra power recoil spring and stainless steel guide rod without any problems or the dreaded trigger bite. I couldn't shoot it before without wearing gloves.
No, our Max 9 trigger is not compatible with the CA Max 9 models that have the magazine disconnect.

Okay, I’m going to ask the same question that’s been asked before: Will this trigger work on the Calif model that has the Magazine Disconnect REMOVED? That’s what everyone one is asking, but the same answer keeps coming back: NOT WITH THE MAGAZINE DISCONNECT. The part that’s not being addressed is “will it work with the disconnect removed”. That wood make it same as any other Max 9 model.

Well, since no one seems to care there at MCarbo, I took my business elsewhere. You might get more customers if you really cared about them…….
I just installed the trigger and spring kit mods. No problem with the installation. However, no matter how I adjust the trigger set screw, I don't see any real difference. Did I do something wrong?
Is it possible to use the trigger without the set screw? The thought of it backing out on a carry firearm and possibly disabling the trigger does not sit too well.
Yes it is! The set screw is optional.
Will this fit a lc9s/ec9s?

No, this trigger only works for the Max 9's.
Will it work on the MAX9 CA model if the magazine disconnect is removed?
