Key Differences Between Old and New Production SIG P365 Slides.
Significant changes to the Sig P365 slide have occurred since its 2018 launch, primarily involving the extractor design and optic mounting configuration. The primary differences in P365 slides relate to the extractor and optic cut designs.
Extractor Change (March 2021)
The most critical functional update occurred for slides produced after March 18, 2021.
Old Version (Pre-March 2021): Features a crescent (moon) shape cutout on the slide near the breech face. It uses a pivot point without a hook.
New Version (Post-March 2021): Does not have the crescent cutout. It uses a "hook style" pivot point.
Compatibility: Extractor parts are generally not interchangeable between these slide generations.

P365 X-Macro Custom Build
Recently I built a X-Macro. I started with a performance works Gold TiN FCU, Sharps Bros Aluminum Grip Module, and a Norsso Piranha Bull Barrell and Slide set. Of course, i had to source and install the slide completion parts. I choose to use the MCARBO striker, extractor and Trigger plus misc ISMI springs. Originally, I had only installed the striker, the supplied striker spring and the Edge Extractor kit. I used a factory SIG Striker Block kit. I added a Trijicon RMRcc, as I am not a fan of Chinese made optics. I also added a NDZ Performance Guide Rod assembly. I had dry fire tested the trigger and striker combination; I was amazed at how much crisper and cleaner the trigger break was even with the SIG FCU Factory trigger. took it to the range and the Striker worked flawlessly with 50 rounds. I took the gun back home and proceeded with the Trigger Install. I did not modify any of the Factory FCU springs. The resultant trigger pull weight is 3.75 Lbs. when pulled along the lowest point on the MCARBO trigger. The resulting trigger brake and reset are amazing. Back to the range and another 50 Rounds with flawless striker performance. The grips are from Burkett Customs and made from a 20,000-year-old Woolly Mammoth Tooth. https://burkettcustoms.com/

I really like the CNC'd extractor, but I had to use the roll pin, spring and rubber spring insert from a Sig parts kit to make it work.
The M*Carbo roll pin seemed just a bit too fat, being hard to drive in. (The M*Carbo rubber insert was longer than the factory, which may have interfered with the extractor seating properly, as may the M*Carbo spring, which seemed a bit stronger than the factory. )
I then proceeded to test it by chambering the first round from a full mag. Then when I proceeded to rack the slide back to extract that round and chamber a second, the slide was stuck forward. I had to force the slide back by strongly striking the grip just below beaver tail . It opened and ejected the first round, but would not chamber the second, leaving the slide open.
I repeated this procedure multiple times with not improvement, before disassembling and using the new factory roll pin, spring and insert. Now it functions properly.
I'm glad to have the CNC'd extractor instead of the MIM original, but would have preferred not having to go through the extra steps to make it function.
Hope this is helpful.
Will it lighten the trigger pull
Will it work with the NORSSO Reptile C slide?
Does this work with the p365 fuse?
