Description

Marlin 60 Trigger Spring Kit

Upgrade your Marlin 60 rifle with the Marlin 60 Trigger Spring Kit and experience a significant reduction in trigger pull weight from a factory weight of ~5.75lbs to a modified weight of ~3.75lbs. This trigger kit is designed to improve accuracy and overall rifle performance, providing a ~35% trigger pull reduction.

The Marlin 60 Trigger Spring Kit includes a custom hammer spring, sear spring, disconnector spring, and trigger return spring, all made of the highest quality spring steel available, including ASTM A228 music wire and 302 stainless steel spring wire, manufactured right here in the USA.

Not only will this trigger kit tighten your shot groups and improve accuracy, but it will also reduce malfunctions due to its high-quality construction. This trigger kit will fit and function properly for various Marlin models, including Marlin 75C, Marlin 989, Marlin 995, Marlin 99, Marlin 99M1, Marlin 80, Marlin 880, and Marlin 990.

FAQ Icon

Q: Will the Marlin 60 Trigger Spring Kit work with the Marlin Glenfield Model 60 Rifle?

A: Yes, the MCARBO Marlin 60 Trigger Spring Kit will work with all types of Marlin Model 60 Rifles.

Q: Will the Marlin 60 Trigger Spring Kit work with the Marlin 75C?

A: Yes it will work in the Marlin 75C.

Q: Will the Marlin 60 Trigger Spring Kit work with the Marlin 989 & 995?

A: Yes it will fit the Marlin 989 & 995.

Q: What other rifles will the Marlin 60 Trigger Spring Kit work for?

A: This kit will also fit the Marlin 99, Marlin 99M1, Marlin 80 and Marlin 880 because Marlin uses the same trigger assembly in all four rifles.

Q: Will the Marlin 60 Trigger Spring Kit work with the Marlin Model 25 Bolt Action Rifle?

A: No, it will not work with the Marlin Model 25 Bolt Action Rifle.

Q: Have you got a secret to getting the disconnector spring to lay flat with action?

A: The trick to installing these is to push the long leg down with your thumb then once it has a good 45 degree bend in it, take your needle nose pliers and put the next 45 degree bend in it. Then get a good bite on the bottom of the plate with one jaw of the pliers and the top of the spring with the other and pull it towards you while flattening the spring against the plate.

Q: Why does your Marlin 60 Trigger Spring Kit come with 5 springs? I only count 4 in the picture.

A: You will notice that our picture shows 4 springs in the kit but when you receive the kit it will include 5. We send an extra disconnector spring with each Marlin kit because this is the spring that requires bending during the installation process. Just in case you bend it incorrectly, no need to worry, you can try it again with the spare that we included.

Q: Will the Marlin 60 Kit work for my Marlin 990?

A: Yes, the Marlin 60 kit has been tested and works properly on the Marlin 990.

Q: I'm not very familiar with the Marlin 60 trigger assembly. How difficult is the installation?

A: The installation is not very difficult but will take approximately 45-60 minutes. You will be very familiar with the Marlin 60 trigger assembly by the time you finish the job!

Q: Should I be concerned with any malfunctions or light strikes after installing this kit?

A: No, all of our MCARBO Trigger Spring Kits have been professionally engineered, designed and manufactured to reduce trigger pull while maintaining 100% reliability of the firearm. You will not experience any sort of light strike or malfunction but you will experience a crisp smooth lighter trigger pull. Guaranteed or your Money Back!

Installed 2 of these so far with one more to go. Parts always arrive promptly (2-3 days) and install is easy if you watch the video. Works as described. Don't have a gauge to test trigger pull but it's is smoother and noticeable. Great product and service.

This kit worked great and was easy to install. I put it on an older Glenfield. It did not have the bolt hold open lever which was confusing at first but once I realized that it was simple.

I have been struggling with the Marlin60 trigger since 1985. I had given up on it till now when your excellent kit was offered. Got my hands on it and installed it today with the help of your very well presented video. All in all it has been a great experience . I am now excitedly waiting to check the groups at the range.

Thank you for creating this excellent kit. Wish I had ordered the match trigger also. Keep up the good work brothers.

I used the kit with DIP trigger guard and trigger. Definite improvement...The trigger return spring is pretty light.
I think the problem with the Marlin trigger is mechanical advantage that it lacks....longer/taller sear would add leverage to the point of reliable cocking.
Stock sear engagement was not excessive in mine.
