Savage AXIS Pro Trigger Kit

Upgrade your Savage AXIS rifle with the Savage AXIS Pro Trigger Kit, the best aftermarket trigger upgrade for the Savage AXIS rifle. This complete trigger job includes the Savage AXIS Trigger Spring Kit and all stainless steel hardware, including a custom-designed trigger return spring, stainless steel overtravel screw, and trigger shims, plus synthetic grease with PTFE.

Reduce your trigger pull from a stock ~6lbs to a modified ~2.5-~3.5lbs with a ~40% trigger pull reduction!

*Kit includes 2 Trigger Return Spring Options that will offer different levels of trigger pull reduction and drop test ratings:

  • 2.5lb Trigger Return Spring - Benchrest Shooting Only - Main Spring will offer the most trigger pull reduction with a limited drop test rating (3", 6" and 9" only).
  • 3.5lb Trigger Return Spring - Hunting Use - Main Spring will offer a perfect trigger pull reduction with an unlimited drop test rating (3", 6", 12"+).

Designed to work with your aftermarket Boyd's Stock or any aftermarket stock for your Savage AXIS Rifle, it will also work on the factory stock. The kit provides extra clearance in the trigger assembly due to the different overtravel screw. It is important to note that the Savage AXIS Pro Trigger Kit fits Savage AXIS rifles with a standard trigger only and will not work for Savage AXIS rifles with AccuTrigger.

The Pro-Kit also includes custom 300 series stainless steel shims to remove side-to-side play in the trigger housing. The synthetic grease with PTFE assists in shim installation and further assists in providing a smoother trigger pull.

Absolutely terrific!

After receiving my package and reading the nice note that came with my product. I decided to leave a review. This is absolutely the best trigger upgrade you could ever do on an axis. It’s better and smoother than the accutrigger and takes around 15 minutes to install. If they decide to make more parts for my rifle I’ll be first in line for sure. Amazing company and amazing products at a great price

Savage Axis .308 Trigger Upgrade
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
This is the second trigger upgrade kit that I have purchased. The first one was on a Savage Axis 6.5 Creedmore. I was so happy with the results that I purchased a second trigger kit. I installed the 2.5 pound spring that was included in the kit. This turned the $330.00 Savage Axis .308 into a great gun. Well worth the money!
Holy shit....

This kit is a GAME CHANGER.....The trigger on my axis is smoother and lighter than the drop in kit I put in my AR. Its SUPER SIMPLE to install....I mean I figured it out so anybody can do it.

The differenfe is NIGHT AND DAY.....its a better trigger than on my rifles that cost twice as much now. Havent had a chance to take it to the range, still doing some more work on other aspects of it....but this trigger....JUST GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!
Worked exactly as advertised

Great improvement ,went from 7lb. &1/2 Lb. to 3,3 Lb. Tried the 2.5 lb. but that was a little to light. Could only get 1 shims in my gun, also got the Savage 64 trigger spring kit to. The trigger did have a long pull but after that it had a 3.50 Lb
This is the 5th one I have done.

I love these kits. A five minute job and people think you put in a custom trigger. I pick up Axis rifles all the time for real cheap because of the trigger and then use the kit and have a real shooter on my hands. Some of the newer ones I have trouble getting both washers in. But one is normally enough to get it tight.
Great Upgrade
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
In put this in a buddies Gen1 Axis in 223 that had that awful factory trigger in it and because of that you could not get anything better than 4" groups at 100 yards. He is now shooting 1" or smaller groups after this upgrade.
