Great drop in trigger
Great trigger. Zero creep. Fairly easy install. Fast shipping.
C & C
Flat triggers is where it is at. The M-Carbo trigger is "Clean & Crisp". with the trigger safety it seams like a 2 stage. Trigger is on the wall with no creep. and breaks at 2 lbs. That is as light as I go on Precision Hunter. I have changed a few things on this savage Axis II build. I had one of my friends at my shop who was the SWAT team sniper, and he loved the trigger as well. Great product team M-Carbo.

Money well spent
If you’re like me, you bought the savage axis combo on sale to be a budget deer rifle…eventually I wanted to tinker with it and I ended up spending some money on stocks, rails, rings, cut and threaded barrel, and eventually a trigger! The single stage trigger this rifle had was garbage. Maybe a 6lb pull.
This mcarbo trigger not only fit the aesthetic of a modern hunting rifle, but also reduced my trigger pull on a moderate setting of about 3.5lb. Perfect for a deer rifle that will have a lot of use especially by youth.
I would like to see a traditional curved trigger with safety bar to fit a more classic look as well.
THANKS FOR THIS UPGRADE
Good Morning,
A fellow shooter despises Savage anything! It's all I hear how Savage rifles cannot put metal on target. Off to the challenge I go. I installed MCARBO PRO trigger kit in my AXIS that helped so much. 3.25 average on the pulls. I installed a MDT LSS chassis, MDT muzzle break, M1000 pre pro model Leatherwood optic. I know it's a lot of money for entry level rifle! Savage barrels are great quality. The cam on my ART optic is set for Federal 55 grain, this setting is covering my bullet weights up to 69 grain. Lowest setting on scope 250m. Now that I can get this MCARBO flat trigger only one entry point will be present after a three round volley. Thanks MCARBO you guys are mind readers helping with a great entry rifle that will drive nails. I will dropping my order ASAP
Better than stock but still has a decent amount of creep
Stock trigger would pull average 5lbs 8oz. This one pulls 2lb 4oz. Awesome improvement there. It does have a large amount of creep tho. It’s consistent, and annoying. For the price, I would give it 3 stars if it wasn’t such a significant drop in pull weight.
Great trigger
My Savge Axis 308 has had some modifications from original such as, a Magpul stock a Shaw barrel and a 20 moa rail with a 6-24x50 Monstrum scope. I had previously installed the MCABO trigger up grade kit. I installed the 3 lb trigger spring. This kit did help with the lighter trigger, but this new trigger made a world of difference in the operation of the trigger. I know the previous mods helped accuracy but when you as a shooter have increased control of the trigger can help shoot better. It has helped my accuracy.
The installation of this trigger is straight forward, however I would recommend watching the installation video (more than once). When you're comfortable tackling this istall it should take about 15-20 minutes. If you're not comfortable do it yourself tke it to a gunsmith.
As I said before I think this trigger helped my accuracy. I am attaching a picture of my 100 yard target.
I really love this trigger and I think you will too.

MCarbo Flat Blade Trigger for Savage
I received my trigger kit today and followed the install video to a tee. It was very easy to install and works great. What I didnt notice on the video or the instructions were to lower the trigger pull. I assumed it is rurning the over travel set screw counterclockwise like the accutrigger. Can any explain or verify please

I have an Axis II Precision which has an adjustable trigger via a screw at the rear of the trigger assembly. Watching the install video left me wondering if this is compatible with the Axis II Precision. And if so, post install , will the adjustment feature be lost leaving the sear adjsutment as the method to set trigger pull?
Detar April 25, 2023 7:50 AM
Correct, it has no adjustment for weight. The trigger pull weight is increased by the spring tension. You could add shims or a new lighter weight spring. However, this trigger is already lighter than the Factory Accutrigger at its lowest setting.

It's the depth of the set screws in the adjustment fixture the 3.5# pull?
most of the weight will be decided by the springs, However you can make small adjustments using the set screw on the front end of the trigger. The one that connects to your sear.
