Button Sticks/stays Depressed
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
I have many MCarbo parts on my Ruger's and Keltec's. All have been excellent quality and have functioned well so far. Unfortunately, they missed the bullseye with this extended mag release. I ordered one for my PC Charger and one for my PC Carbine, and both stuck when pushed. It seems the size of the button "O.D." is too large and it rubs on the polymer frame. So, when it is depressed, it doesn't spring back out like it should.
I contacted MCarbo and they had me return the first ones and they did send out replacements, unfortunately they also stick. (Which I figured they would)
I was able to find and purchase a competitors extended mag release and it is functioning perfectly. Unfortunately, I am out the $35 on the MCarbo ones..
I still like my MCarbo parts for their function and great quality, but this one needs some reworking..

This release, didn't release without sticking in receiver I installed it 3 different times with different torques and it always got stuck. I had to sand down the front of it quite a bit to get it to function properly. I don't recommend this product. All other products I purchased from M carbo worked just fine .
A nice addition

This part is a nice addition to my PC Carbine. It makes dropping the magazine a little easier without looking for the button. It also doesn't stick out too much so I don't prematurely drop the mag by mistake. The only thing I would change about this item is the surface texture. It could be a little more aggressive. A cross checkering pattern and a little deeper would be fantastic. Then it would be a 5 star product for sure...
Will see

I purchased all ruger pc charger items. All but the mag release worked perfectly. When I tighten the mag release it wants to stick in. I tried a couple times but just went back to the original. I have a carbine and a charger, plan on trying it there and see if there's a difference.
Great upgrade.

Another Cool Upgrade

I like the size of the M-Carbo design way more than their competitors. I feel the M-Carbo stuff looks more professional and less like a "toy". This button not only looks cool but is way more functional and seemed to tighten up some of the slop in the magwell.

Best Extended Mag Release for PC Charger
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
This is a simple part that's well made and easy to install. It adds just enough extra height to improve quick, easy operation of the PC Charger's mag release. I bought this to replace a Tandemkross "Titan" mag release that was just too big - not only was it too easy to accidentally hit the TK release when shooting, but having the Titan on left side of the Charger, when my SB Tactical brace (1913A) was folded to the left, it would press against the Titan and release mags. The M-Carbo part sits within the same factory-release profile and is not impacted by the folded brace. Not to small (factory), not too large (TK), the M-Carbo PC Charger Extended Magazine Release is "just right"!
