LC9 TRIGGER SPRING KIT
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
I received the LC9 Trigger Spring Kit, watched the video and then started the process of replacing the springs. After removing the frame insert, and placed the frame insert down on my work bench the safety came flying out, what had happened unbeknown to me is the safety was broken into two pieces just forward of where you place your thumb to operate the safety. The break was so clean that when you put the two pieces together it is hard to see the fracture line. The reason the safety had continued to work is that it was held captive between the frame and the frame insert, there wasn't any hint that it was broken.

Contacted Ruger and they sent me a new safety lever at no charge and provided an envelope to send it back to them for evaluation.

After receiving the safety, I completed the installation. The installation was easy and the video for the installation was very helpful, even a caveman could do it .

Went to the range yesterday and fired 75 rounds with no malfunctions at all.

The pull was lighter, but I cannot say by how much as I do not have a gauge to measure it. The pull was smooth all the way to when the gun would fire, before there was a stage / step that you could feel before the gun would fire which is now gone. I do not know why Ruger designed this trigger in this manner with such a long pull, it is a terrible design.

I would recommend this upgrade to a friend.
Much improvement

Much smoother long trigger pull and much lighter pull to set trigger. Video was perfect to install the new springs, just be prepared for parts to not operate or come apart as easy as shown in video. Take your time, hit pause a bunch and enjoy making a bad factory trigger better. I also recommend watching video f before order as I ended up ordering the punches, hammer and bench block as well.
Small improvement

I purchased this kit to tame the Super Long and hard pull (over 7 lbs.) of my older style, hammer-fired Ruger LC9 pistol. The installation was not difficult and the video was Excellent. However, the end result ended nowhere near the advertised reduction in the pull, confirmed by the gauge, plus my feel. According to the gauge, pull was reduced by appx. 1 lb. For the positive, the overall, overly long pull is a large amount smoother, along with the rest being more pronounced. This is not to say the product is bad, simply not as effective for my Ruger LC9, Terrible lengthy trigger pull. Ruger repaired this by offering the striker-fired replacement. I would continue to purchase products from this company, knowing that they offer high-quality products, with intentions of a safe and better end product for function.

LC9 Spring Kit - A major improvement
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
I just bought this kit (and the work block). This is the first time I have dismantled the LC9 like this. Overall was easy, some pins just DID NOT want to move. Before as you know, the trigger goes through a long pull and a few clicks and a little hard to pull (threw my shots off). After changing these springs, the pull is EASY and there are not all these clicks. I was weird at first pulling the trigger, thought I forgot something. but.. SO EASY! The pull is GREAT. This was well worth the work. I have to now go to the range and fire it. YES YOU NEED THIS!!! Three springs and you will notice the difference. Thank you... I feel I will enjoy this pistol now!!!
Works great!

Took about the same amount of time to change the springs out as to watch the video. Had to pause a few times, but other than that, very easy install. Trigger is fantastic now, the difference is huge.

Finally fixed my lc9 trigger pull. Easy to follow video. With the punch set, hammer, and other tools used in video it made fixing my lc9 easy. I can now enjoy my lc9. Thank you, M-CARBO.
