If your going to install a KEL TEC KSG Muzzle Brake you will need something to assist with removing the factory barrel nut. We highly recommend using the KSG Vise Block with the Barrel Nut Socket Wrench to avoid risking damage to your KSG during disassembly.
- Check the barrel nut on your KSG to see if you need a 4-Point or 6-Point Wrench. Count the Slots on your KSG Barrel Nut to determine if you need the 4-Point or 6-Point Wrench

I haven't actually used it yet but it fits very well and look like quality. Once I settle on which muzzle device I want it appears ready for the job.

You cannot disassemble the KSG without damage unless you have this tool. No getting around it unless you can make your own tools. Great quality part.

A Must Have Tool
This is a must have tool if you need to remove the barrel nut. Very inexpensive, but a quality product. Just make sure to get the correct one (4 notch for older KSGs; 6 notch for newer - just compare your KSG to the pics on MCarbo's website). The tool enabled me to easily remove my barrel nut buy attaching the tool to a 3/8" socket wrench. No heating or excessive effort required. Highly recommend this mist have tool.

Barrell breacher nut.
Tool is great worked to install the bayonet spikes I just wish you guys would bring back the barrel breacher nut it’s the only thing I need to complete my KSG!
Nice Tool
This socket is very well made and fit the six-point nut on my KSG nicely. DeWalt 1/2" impact driver removed nut with no problem. The only downside is the 1/2" sq drive needs to be deeper to accommodate the length of the drive on the tools. You have to only inset the drive part way. This did not present any problem for the impact driver, but anyone using a breaker bar may experience some difficulties.

We no longer offer a 4-point Barrel Nut Wrench, however you should still be able to get a 4-point wrench through Kel-Tec!
