    Question:
What is the internal parts polishing service?

My friend, I can't believe that your question has been sitting here for almost 2 years without an answer. After all this time, you've probably gotten an answer elsewhere, or lost interest completely -- but I'll answer anyway, in hopes it will help someone else. As I understand it, the internal parts polishing is simply about improving your trigger feel --eliminating trigger "creep" and roughness so that you get that glassy-smooth, effortless feeling when you pull the trigger right up until you hit the break point or "wall". No matter what kind of gun you're shooting, a trigger like that is the mark of a fine firearm, and it makes your gun feel like you paid at least $1000 more for it than you actually did! They polish the smooth contact surfaces in the action like the sear, any metal surfaces which have wear marks from rubbing together, and any other critical surfaces like the feed ramp -- allowing your gun to cycle as if everything was slathered in melted butter, with no roughness or friction. The specific parts they polish will depend in part upon how much time you ask them to spend, and of course it varies based on the specific model of gun. You can do this kind of polishing yourself if you have some experience working on the type of gun you have, and a solid understanding of how the different parts work together. You'd need a Dremel tool or its equivalent, a set of Craytex rubber polishing points for said tool, some white fiber polishing tips for the final polishing, and some metal polish like Flitz. I don't suggest you undertake something like this unless you've had some teaching in elementary gunsmithing procedures -- enough to know what to polish, and how much. But if you're a natural DIYer who's always ready to dive into something new, and you aren't afraid to make the occasional mistake that ruins a part you just bought, this is a doable project that brings great rewards.
