The Steel Muzzle Plate won't wear when in contact with the Vise Block, but just to be on the safe side you can always apply masking tape to the Muzzle Plate for an added layer of reassurance that you won't scratch anything when removing the KSG Barrel Nut to install your new V6 Muzzle Brake or Choke Adapter!

Very useful tool. Could have some improvements.
Very useful for disassembly for Cerakote . Could be a little wide, possibly twice as thick for better surface area clamping and stop rocking while working on the weapon. You will need to have something to support the rear weight of the shotgun. Wrap your front in painters tape to prevent scratches if you've done a refinish.

A must have to perform any major work on the muzzle of a KSG. Fit perfectly and held gun in the inverted position so barrel nut could be remove and a muzzle device installed. It is designed so the top rail does not require removal.

If you plan on doing any adjustments, you need this vice clamp. Duct tape it, so it won't scratch your weapon.
You Need this Product
This vise is a must have if you plan to remove the barrel nut (e.g. to install a muzzle brake). The vise worked exactly as described. I was able to lock down the barrel and easily remove the barrel nut with ease. Again, this is a must have product. I prevents any damage to the firearm when removing the barrel nut. Higly recommend.

Great tool to hold the barrel!
To properly hold the barrel in a solid position without damaging other things, this is a great "sub-vise" to put in your vise! The minimum size vise needed is a 4" spread.
