Seems like a solid product but BUY The Gun BLOCK!
Like I said seems like a solid product, but I should have watched the install video before ordering. After about 3 hours both myself and my brothers hands and fingers are numb as hell. Taking a day or two before trying again. If we can't get it then I will probably just buy the block. I will update my review (if I can after we get it installed).
Should be sold to MFR!
Great product. The gun should come from the manufacturer with this part. When installing ensure the handle does not rotate. If you made sure the handle won't rotate and the 2K will lock the bolt to the rear the spring is not seated.
Yes. Get one.
The Double Finger charging handle is sooooo much better than the oem handle. It doesn't feel like it's pulling my knuckles out of their sockets, and it's much easier to lock back into the locking groove. It doesn't stick out awkwardly when the weapon is folded or deployed. It's roughly half the height of the buttstock, so it nests naturally under the level of the stock and pistol grip. So no need to worry about snags or getting caught on things. It's definitely a must have.
I put up a 1 star review previously because I was having a hard time installing after viewing the instructional video. There are however folks in the comments section of the video that provided easier install instructions, such as simply twisting the allen wrench to compress the spring rather than trying to brute force it. It is better than the OEM charger.
Not for noobs
I admit I am new to firearms, but this should not be this hard to install. It is just a charging handle. I may update my review once I get it installed but who knows when that will happen.
makes cocking the gun much more comfortable
this thing is a huge pain to install, having to compress a big strong floppy spring with one hand while slipping a tiny, fiddly little part into place with the other, but once it's in, it's a fantastic improvement.
however, be aware that you have to get all the little parts precisely aligned inside or you won't be able to lock the bolt back anymore. should have stuck with the original kel-tec design of the shaft that goes into the bolt, since it doesn't matter if it rotates or not.
Not so great
The charging handle is not that easy to put in due to complicated locking pin, WTH is the Allen wrench for???). You will need to reinstall every time you take your gun apart to clean. It does feel good charging back but this charging handle will not all you to lock you bolt all the way back to the notch, so you can’t lock it back one the new charging handle is on which is big downer and can be a pain if you need to tinker with it in the field if that’s what you’re using it for. Expensive for something that does not provide same functionality as the stock charger
What is the cover that adds around $15? Just the double finger handle is really all I want but I don't understand what the push for the cover is about, exactly what it even is, and/or if I really even need it? Could someone please show and explain? Thank you
Is there a Double Finger & Recoil-less(yes, a heavy/thick double finger charging handle) Charging Handle for sale? I love my heavy Recoil-less charging handle, but I would also like it Double Finger sized. I would buy 2 instantly!
I had the same question. I guess it all depends on the weight. The recoiless just weighs more than the OEM one. They don't list weights for the double finger or the recoiless handle. Maybe people can supply that info along with the OEM weight?

Is this selection for the double finger charging handle or something else and what is “Black Nitride Plated no grip”? The way thats listed leaves me to believe its somehow a different charging handle and not something to do with the double finder charging handle. Kind of either or situation without understanding what black nitride is or what it does?

Will this work properly without the integrated tool-less locking pin, or is it required to install?
Yes, you need to install the tool-less locking pin if you don't you can run into the issue where your charging handle will fall out.
Will this work on the SUB CQB?
Does these work on the first generation .40 caliber also?
Functions in both the Gen 1 & Gen 2 models of the SUB-2000
