WHAT'S INCLUDED:

  • 1 - Stainless Steel Integrated Tool-Less Locking Pin
  • 1 - 1.27mm Allen Key
Description

KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Recoilless Charging Handle

Experience a significant reduction in felt recoil with the M*CARBO Recoilless Charging Handle, specifically designed for the KEL-TEC SUB-2000. This expertly engineered charging handle minimizes recoil by an impressive 68%, enhancing the overall shooting experience.

The handle significantly cuts down on felt recoil, making for a smoother shooting experience. It features a wider grip surface for better control, while maintaining a low profile for convenience. The design also makes bolt charging substantially easier, offering enhanced positive control.

Included is our stainless steel, tool-less locking pin that adds strength and ensures a secure bolt lockup. Adding just 2.2 ounces to the overall weight of your SUB-2000, this accessory is a light but effective addition. The handle is crafted from high-grade American A311 stress-proof carbon steel for durability. A heavy-duty internal feature has been integrated to resist wear or breakage. This charging handle is compatible with both Gen 1 and Gen 2 SUB-2000 models.

The factory-installed charging handle weighs just 1 ounce, while the M*CARBO Recoilless Charging Handle weighs 3.2 ounces. Despite the extra weight, the heavier handle serves to slow down the blowback momentum, significantly reducing the felt recoil. It also provides a thicker diameter for a more substantial grip during bolt charging and operation.

Upgrade your charging handle today and gain control over recoil without weighing down your SUB-2000!

Do yourself a favor, and don't settle for the factory crap that came with your sub. These cats help transform your cost effective plastic pew into a tactical competitor. And they have idiot proof videos to help you along the way. Mine went from a gritty new toy to a butter smooth defensive weapon.
The Allen key is OK but I made tool to capture spring.

Used a 2x4 drilled to hold the end of recoil spring, held in my workmate. Used a 3/32 steel brazing rod piece, sharpened to a point and held with small vice grip plyers to capture the spring. Respect that sharp end when working the spring. A third hand would be handy getting the locking piece into the spring.

Despite the M*Carbo installation video on YouTube this is an extremally difficult, if not impossible for some, accessory to install on your Sub 2000. The video even suggests if you have difficulty send it to them at a price to be determined and they will do the install. The installation is not only frustrating but painful on the fingers.

Makes a claim of "Reduces felt recoil by 68% on your SUB-2000!" This was not the case for me there was almost no noticed reduced recoil. Like some of there other items I think this is just a bluff. I purchased $300 worth of Mcarbo parts including the Trigger performance kit and saw little to no benefit with any of their upgrades and with several emails and photos back and forth with the tech's they offered me a $27 refund. $27 dollar refund on a $300 purchase. What a joke.
Very straightforward part to install

While I was warned about the potential troubles for us geezer types, I order the recoil-less charging handle. It was a bit tricky as you warned in the thorough installation video, it was doable with the right tools. The videos are a real resource for the novice gunsmith. You made the upgrade tasks easy, straightforward and successful.

Easy enough to install but after installing, I couldn't lock back the bolt.
M-carbo insists it's an improper install. No way it can be anything else.
After checking my install over a dozen times, in 100% sure the install is correct.
I tapped the charging handle into the lock back position with a rubber mallet, and it works now, but it leaves me wondering what the problem was. I don't much like hammering on my guns.
As for the charging handle mitigating recoil,,, I don't think there's a difference, even with the doughnut in there.
I don't really see this as a worthwhile upgrade.
Either add a loaded spring or stop selling this

7 hours... 7 hours fighting this damn spring and the aluminum end piece is still not installed. I've got two nice dents in my ceiling though. Better wear safety glasses!

I have performed numerous upgrades on all my firearms, including other products from M-CARBO. Unless you've invested a lot of money in shop tools just take it to an armorer and pay them to "mother-f" this upgrade. I've yet to find a way to work the spring down enough to give enough room and leverage to install the aluminum cap without the tension of the spring suddenly shifting forcing the other end of to eject the spring releasing all that energy.

I'm a little suspicious with that video on YouTube. I suspect the spring was cut down for the instructional video with how easy it was to simply pop on and off the new end piece.

But this is personal now. Nothing has fought me like this since reconnecting the steel brake lines of the a 16 year old Acura from the rust belt and I'm not going to let this damn thing best me.

This Recoilless Charging Handle definitely feels nicer than the original but I already hate this Kel-Tec SUB2000 and I haven't even fired one round.

Save yourself the time of posting a smart-ass comment because I truly don't care what you think. Just know what you're getting yourself into and if you don't have an equiped workshop, either pay them or pay an armorer to do this pita of an upgrade.

The charging handle broke in two after a few hundred rounds. I don't shoot this gun that often at the range and couldn't imaging I shot more then 500 rounds with this charging handle. Was at an indoor range when it broke clean. Luckily someone saw it fly off and retrieved it for me. Gun was unusable until I could switch back to the original charging handle. I cant trust or recommend this product.

Does this charging handle have the pin you have to install on the recoil spring like in the photos of the product or does the charging handle have a notch to catch the recoil spring like in the install video.
