***If you have a Mossberg 590, then you will need to remove both hammer springs that are in the Mossberg 590 Trigger Group from the Factory.  There is an inner and outer hammer spring that fit inside one another.  Then replace the 2 factory springs with the single M*CARBO Hammer Spring in this kit.  We've thoroughly tested this to ensure it would be free from light strikes or discharges when dropped.  Due to the Mossberg 590 being used by the Military it includes 2 hammer springs from the factory to ensure it will ignite harder primers on military grade ammo.  Unless you are shooting military grade ammo you will not experience any light strikes.***

My first time trying to modify the Mossberg 500 trigger and it was very easy following the youtube instruction from mcarbo. Just youtube "mcarbo trigger spring kit mossberg 500" and there was two good videos on how to disassemble and reassemble using regular tools and specialty tools, which I should've order to make it slightly easier. Overall, it was easy and I now have an average pull weight of 4.5 lbs.

M*Carbo,
I just wanted to say great job! Ordering was simple, your communication after the order has been outstanding. You also sent a video link for the installation of the product so I could watch the installation before even getting the parts. Shipping was quick going across the country and the parts arrived in good shape. You will now be the first place I look to when needing parts in the future.

Easy Install (eventually...)

I have a relatively unused Mossberg 500 20 ga and this install really sweetened up the trigger nicely. I had a little trouble with the trigger return spring and was kind of overthinking it, I guess. Chris made this look a pretty easy, but it wasn't for me.

One suggestion I have is doing this part of the install with the hammer in the forward position. In this position, it is out of your way and you are not trying to maneuver the trigger and return spring around it. I would have hated to try this without the Trigger Assy Tool. This DEFINITELY made life easier and you can always use it in the future when you want to deep clean the trigger assy.

Because after doing this install, you are going to know all about its operation. Thanks, guys. Great product and great walk through, as usual.
