I am recently new to the Sig platform, Glock guy, but a lover of everything firearms related. So, I obviously want to see what different aftermarket accessories were out there. The P365XL was really nice out of the box but the trigger was nothing to be desired. I knew of M*CARBO from running a BOG. So, I ordered the Flat Trigger, Spring Kit and Titanium Striker. I watched Chris and Sig Guys installation videos and talked numerous times to Ken, one of the gunsmiths at M*CARBO (He's a great guy and gave me great tips). I installed everything yesterday for me and my buddies 365XL. The first install took a little bit of time but the second one when really fast. Coming from a Glock platforms the Sig is bit more intricate, but way more robust. The results are a night and day difference, from the virtually no creep, solid wall, to crisp break and reset. And the trigger just looks damn sexy. I really can't wait to see the additional products rolling out, because I will be there to buy them. Lastly, this companies is the best with customer service, from talking to Ken to dealing with customer service, they deliver when sadly many companies aren't delivering. Originally had the Sig Flat trigger on my P365. Installed this M*CARBO P365 trigger along with the spring kit. Drastically changed the trigger pull. It’s a night and day difference. I would highly recommend this trigger to anyone!
This is a amazing upgrade for the sig 365. Yes it’s a little expensive but this trigger is top quality and superior craftsmanship. This trigger combined with the lighter spring kit. Makes the sig 365 a great shooting pistol. I will recommend this trigger to every sig 365 owner I find.
I ordered this trigger and the upgraded spring kit and was beyond happy with the quality of both products. But what compelled me to leave a review is the quality of service you get here. I got my trigger and installed it and it worked flawlessly. I received another trigger about 2 months later in the mail and was very confused until I checked my email. Mcarbo had emailed me and said that after 1000+ rounds the trigger was prone to stress fractures. The sent me the updated trigger without me even knowing. To me that’s as good as it gets with costumer service. I will definitely do as much business with mcarbo as possible.
This item improves the overall performance by helping to keep on the aimpoint. A slightly lighter pull keeps me from pulling my shot. Iam also enjoying the limited movement of this trigger. Try it I dont think you'll be sorry.
The trigger feel after swapping the mcarbo trigger in my 365x macro is absolutely night and day. The shoe feels much better, the shorter travel is awesome, still have a perfect ammount of pre stage slack, and with the over travel dialed in nice, this thing is really really good. Paired it with the spring kit (minus striker spring) & the titanium striker (used spring included with that). Its noticeably less spongy, lighter pull weight (i would say 2-3 lb reduction), and shorter overall travel, compared to a fully stock 365 fcu. All in, $200. Would i do it again? Yes. It feels well tuned. As for install.. it is definitely NOT as hard as it may look in some videos. Follow along with the Mcarbo video on youtube or their website, and it goes very smooth.
I bought a standard p365 few yrs ago and fired it several times and didn't like the trigger. I kept it in the safe for a while until I bought this trigger and the trigger spring kit. Once installed I can only say OMG... a change from heaven to earth. Now my P365 is a joy to shoot.
highly recommended to anyone with the p365 series very well made smooth clean crisp break and unreal fast reset add the spring kit with this trigger and took my pull from a 6.5 lb pull to a 3lb pull unbeatable set up in my opinion thanks for making good products.
Between this trigger, the mcarbo spring kit, the titanium striker and the tactical trigger kit my p365 feels like a 1911. Something I never thought was possible from a striker pistol!
Put this in my P-365 X-Macro and I am very pleased with it. The material feels much better than the factory MIM flat trigger, definitely says "quality." Factory flat faced trigger is a little too forward swept for my preference, this one is set in a great position and breaks at 90 degrees. Paired with the MCarbo P-365 spring kit, this trigger is AMAZING. If you're considering buying, don't hesitate - you will be very pleased.
So far this seems to be one of the best overall triggers I’ve had and used so far. I’ve not yet moved it over to my EDC gun yet just bc I like to get new products thru a certain amount of rounds, and/or abuse before trusting my life with it. My only hesitation was the set screw but so far it seems to be holding up just fine. Hopefully after the next trip or 2 at the range I’ll be swapping FCU’s over to my EDC, and ordering another MCarbo trigger to replace my AC skeletonized flat trigger.
Got the trigger minus the springs. Watched the mcarbo installation video and Bam! Trigger is nice even without upgraded springs which i may do later. The ordering and shipping was quick and easy.
This trigger is awesome! My gunsmith even asked me about it. Love everything about it!
If you are on the fence about buying this trigger then don’t be because it’s well worth replacing the factory trigger. The reviews speak for themselves along with the YouTube videos that are out there on this trigger. Absolutely love this trigger by MCARBO.
I installed the mcarbo trigger on my XMacro and noticed that it slightly lifted the sear to where the slide wont go back on. I managed to get the slide on by removing the back plate, installing the slide (w/o the backplate), locking the slide back, then reinstalling the backplate. However, I had to do this action every time I took off the slide. The trigger itself was wonderful! Short pull, and none of the grinding feeling from the stock trigger. Ultimately I had to take it off due to me noticing that the slightly lifted sear tab was creating a groove on the inside of my slide as well as grinding the sear down a bit..
