Replacing Sig P938?trigger spring
I watched your video and want to order the kit, but you’re not offering the trigger spring anymore. I believe my P938 is the original model since I don’t see a Gen 1 or 2 on it. The trigger pull on it is around 8-10 pound pull and for sure needs a lighter trigger.

Sig P238 Owner
I have MS so was looking for something to reduce the trigger pull. I have two p238s so I had a good "before and after" test because I just installed the MCARBO kit on one and not the other. Very disappointed after installing this two spring kit. There is no desirable reduction in the trigger weight pull. I have a couple friends at the range to do the same test and they agreed, there was no difference in the trigger pull on the two guns. And yes, I polished the hammer. Very disappointed.

sig 238 spring and polishing kit. After use this stuff I had 8# trigger. Did not help much
Needs the sear spring
As others have commented, the striker spring kit might help. It did drop my gen1 P938 from 7 to 6 lbs. Ok. Ho-hum.
The bigger change is to (nearly) flatten the sear spring... not unlike a 1911. This mod dropped the pull to a clean 4lbs.
I am hoping MCarbo re-releases the thin, sear spring like before so everyone can buy a drop in spring that corrects the P938/P238's heavy trigger pull.

Will the trigger kit for the p938 micro work in a Springfield 911 9mm?
No they are very different internally and the springs wouldn't work properly.
I am interested in the Sig P238 spring kit, but don't know how to determine if my Sig P238 is a Gen 1 or whatever? How can I determine that? Thanks!

works and installed on my CA 2 tone, would sayi feel it lighter on the cocking/hammer pullback, trigger about the same maybe a bit lighter.

I don't belive we ever had one with a sear spring
If I use the Gen 1 spring kit on the Gen 2 P238 how will it affect the trigger? I'd be happy with a 4-5lb trigger. It's currently 7lbs.
I'm sorry for our delayed response here in Q&A section! You may still see a slight reduction, though it will not be as drastic as advertised for the Gen 1 models. I would also recommend you polish any contact surface areas to help smooth out the function!
Any updates on the Gen2 trigger spring kit availability? Hoping you'll be getting some in soon...

Hello, unfortunately, we still do not have an ETA on the Sear Spring for this kit. The Gen 1 Kit contains the same Hammer Spring and Firing Pin Spring and can still be used in the Gen 2 models. Please email us at help@mcarbo.com to be added to our wait list!
When are you expecting the Sig Sauer P238 / P938 Trigger Spring Kit for gen2?
As of 4/20/21, we do not have an ETA on the Sear Spring for this kit. The Gen 1 Kit contains the same Hammer Spring and Firing Pin Spring and can still be used in the Gen 2 models. The Sear Spring is a very sensitive design and we are working on releasing a better, updated version!
