Trigger spring kit
My mini 30 had a smooth trigger and I hadn’t really noticed the trigger pull but I did have a light hammer strike on a round so I was going to replace the hammer spring anyway so I decided to do both while I had it torn down. Haven’t shot it yet but the trigger pull is noticeably lighter! Going to deer hunt with it this fall and that lighter trigger pull will come in quite handy! Thanks Brother!!
Great Investment Upgrade ...
I purchased the product Xs2 for my two Mini14s ... one is an older .223 and then other is a 300AAC/Blackout. The .223 had a trigger pull of a little over 5 3/4 pounds of trigger pull. AND the 300AAC/ Blackout had a trigger pull of 6 1/2 pounds of trigger pull. BOTH are now about 4 1/2 pounds of trigger pull AND a lot more shooter quality and comfort. I also polished a few trigger parts that possibly helped and used the clear gun grease. Good combination and I am HAPPY :-)

If you want a really decent trigger on your Mini, you need this.
After using a ceramic stone to smooth out the hammer hook, I installed this spring instead of cutting down the factory spring. What a world of difference it makes in trigger pull. I now have a smooth, crisp match grade trigger with about a 4.3 lb pull.

Ruger mini14 sear spring
I did polish the trigger surfaces before installing the sear spring. The polishing reduced the trigger pull from 6.5 lbs to 5.5 lbs and then the spring install brought it down to 4.375 lbs. I'm happy with the trigger pull weight at this point and the polishing gave me a very smooth trigger with a crisp break.
I have a newer mini 14. My pull weight settled in at 4-4.5 lbs. Will the new spring reduce the pull more? Thanks Allen.
