I appreciate the video for changing the new springs in the C9 and it went smoothly for both pistols. Honestly, I haven't been to the indoor range yet to fully feel the difference, but I could tell the change in the trigger pull was lighter. I will g et to the range this coming week and test the trigger pull.

Hi Point sear spring
Spring is easy to install, HUGE reduction in trigger pull.
Works as advertised to make a mushy and heavy trigger feel like a mushy and less heavy trigger
I'm not a big Hi-Point fan, but picked up a JHP 45 Gen2 while I'm waiting on my PX4's slide to be milled.
I took the JHP 45 to the range bone stock, and while it wasn't great at anything, it did function and I was able to put rounds on paper in a fairly accurate manner.
The my accessories arrived... 4 9-round mags, 4 20-round mags, and a picatinny adapter -- plus this Mcarbo spring.
Install took all of 5 minutes, and using my gauge, pull dropped from OEM 8.4 lbs, to 4.2 lbs. I can't say feel improved any, as it's still mighty mushy, but at least it's notably lighter, and that helps accuracy a bunch.
Took it to the range and was pleased with the results, as I'm now able to keep most hits in the black ranges from 30 to 50 feet.
At $13, you can't go wrong with this Spring upgrade. Do it!
Hipoint pistol trigger spring
Honestly my pistol trigger wasn’t terrible at around six pounds, but I was already ordering for my carbine so I bought this. Man it brought that trigger down to probably 3.5 pounds. It’s one of the better triggers of any of my pistols now. Glad I threw it in the cart!
c9 update
I'm so happy to have run across this, it was so simple to change the spring and improved the trigger response quite a bit. Didn't know how awful my trigger was. By the way it's still a weird trigger but 5 lbs less now.
What a surprise.
I came looking for the charging handle and saw the sear spring, complete impulse buy. Installation was easy enough, the video was very helpful since I am still getting used to the tear-down process of my new carbine. Trigger pull is lightened and smoothed to a more pleasant range compared to the factory spring, but not to the point that it felt unsafe or it impeded reliability of the the action.
Have you tried this spring on the jxp 10mm pistol?
Does this spring fit/work for the Hi-Point 45 JH (no 'P') ?
This is the older 'metal' frame .45 cal Hi-Point.
Will this work with the new 10mm pistol?
We haven't tested it on that platform we cant recommend that it will work on the 10mm.
