This product is as described. It is simple drop in replacement and takes no time at all. It is a great upgrade if you prefer the stainless steel versus the stock black spring. I had zero issues with the gun performing with this spring. I did not notice any real difference with the “Muzzle Flip” with this spring but that could just be me. It is sturdy and should hold up very well. I think it was a good addition to my P365, hopefully you will too.

Tested and works! Solid upgrade!

Mcarbo quality right here. Just blew 200 rds with the new spring, comparing to the OEM. Not a super dramatic difference (this isn’t a compensator) but there is a noticeable ’perceived’ smoothness in overall recoil coming from the standard 3.1 barrel using 124 gr TMJs. Certainly tames that snap a few marks. It’s obviously heavier and a beefier spring so cocking that slide back to lock or chamber will take intentional effort, it’s manageable and not difficult, a petite female can still rack it, just a tad tighter over the OEM but that should be expected. Mag dumping and rapid fire is much more fun now that I can keep all hits on the paper target from 20 yards. With enough training you’ll definitely get improved follow up grouping, even if shooting with iron sights.

Similar to others, the end of this recoil spring can "jump" over the guide rod, rendering the design useless for disassembly. Luckily it still functioned and I could get the spring out but it takes some doing. First one I had failed in 50 rounds or so, second one failed within 250-500 rounds. Completely unacceptable and MCARBO would only send a replacement when I requested a refund.

it happened to me same as the others, the spring keeps hopping over itself and causing issues

Very well made

I have installed two of these and they have both functioned flawlessly. One of them has over 2,000 rounds on it. Reduces recoil and does not appreciably increase the force necessary to operate the slide. You would think it would be somehow the difference in recoil is noticeable but the the force to rack the slide is not.

Works well with standard P365, but not so well with a comp

I ran approx. 200 rounds with this on my P365 ( I have the ZEV Z365 Octane slide) and it worked well enough, although I cannot say I noticed a significant difference.

However, when I recently added the M*CARBO Threaded Barrel and Compensator I noticed the slide was no longer locking back on the last round. I changed to the standard recoil spring assembly and the slide had no problem locking open on last round.
